2023 NHL Playoffs Around the League

LA is supposedly 10-1-1 with one of the officials in tonight's game last 2 years..NHL really should not be allowing officials with that type of disparity to call games

There are sites that track the refs just for betting purposes. It is an issue that will presumably persist until a NHL ref gets caught gambling like that NBA ref.
 
I still think EDM makes this series interesting, they'd be the only team down 3-1 I'd think that can come back. I'd probably give TB a chance too if they lost tomorrow
 
It blows my mind that Darnell Nurse makes 9.25mil a season. Dude should be making HALF that. Doesn’t put up big offensive numbers, isn’t a shutdown guy…I don’t get it at all.

Watching the Devils game, 1st period 1-0 Devils. Jack Huges is everything we want Barzal to be, NJD are young fast and skilled the passing is extremely creative and quick I think in a year or two with more playoff experience and maturity this team could be champions

A WEAK holding call on the Devils there

Referees really can’t get out the of their own way and let the players play

And it only took 11 years of rebuilding to get to this point.
 
TBH even if NJ wins tonight I am still not too big on them winning the series due to the inexperience
 
Well I picked the Devils to win in 5, as I really thought they were the better team, but after those first two blowouts I thought I was dead wrong. But they’ve made this a series now.

It would do a lot towards easing my reaction to the Isles’ first round performance if the Rags manage to blow this
 
After the first 2 games I thought NYR was going to steamroll the Devils. I’m pleasantly surprised that NJD has won both games at MSG and the series is all even at 2. Hopefully Jersey can win the next 2 and put them out of their misery
 
I do know the 2004 WCF the road team won the first 5, I think one or two other series it happened as well but its rare. NJ to win is probably a solid bet in game 5
