Thats that length Ive been talking about. He uses so much ice to maneuver around players.

Of course this isnt how hell play in the NHL on every shift, hes just being ridiculous right now, but he will be able to challenge defenders who give him too much ice just like McDavid, Crosby and Malkin do. Id love for Slaf to start using stick and body positioning like that, hed be insanely good.

He didn't even score! pff bust.

:sarcasm:

Are they really 1st round talent ? Are they as good as Otteinger Wallstedt Knight where ?

Not sure Hrabal is, but Bjar could be.

Could be a target mid first depending on where Florida's pick is.
Regrettably, he probably won’t be a available where Florida will be drafting. Barlow has pro level size, skating and shooting. It wouldn’t surprise me if Montreal’s draft position ‘falls’, Barlow becomes a target for Montreal’s first choice in the first round.

Falls to the bottom of the standing, yep.

Hrabal was a mid 1st very early 2nd on a few list before the season started Bjarnason more of a late 2nd - 4th rd si maybe not has hype has Wallstedt or kight, but Otteinger late first round so it could be a similar situation (not saying that they are as good).

When Fantilli gets in the NHL, if he checks Tyler Myers into the boards... those necks might make a knot. They'll be inseperable.

Haven't seen Hrabal play, but Bjarnson is really smooth looking. His movements are beautiful from side to side. Graceful. Holds his form really well. I'll be watching more of him.

Cossa went 1st round and I think Bjarnason is better than him. Cossa is big & quick, but he is also sort of gangly. He tends trip over himself a lot. Gets himself out of position.

Anyways, I really want a top 4 pick. Good news is we're now last in our division, and 3rd last in our conference only 2 pts out of last spot.

Bad news is the west is so bad that Western teams hold down the bottom 5 spots in the standings.

It's going to be very, very tough to beat out Arizona, Vancouver, San Jose & Anaheim. They are all complete trash.
Isn't that a good thing? Them being in the same conference? They will have to share points

Yeah Bjarnson looks really good. Very confident and strong on his feet. Holds his position very well even in tight when the shooter has more than one option. Lots of poise too. And his positioning/lateral movement is solid. Even when he's flying crease to crease, he keeps his body upright instead of bending forward or falling back...with his hands out in front.

He's very Carey price like actually in that sense. Very enjoyable to watch so far

Currently sitting at #9 with Minny that gas a game in hand and one less point, NYI could also tie us next game.

Vancouver and Colombus are really pooping on the dream right now though
Would't be surprise if we see Columbus making a coach changing if they don't play better soon. They invest a lot this summer so they want to make the playoffs. I expect them to pass us in the standing quickly

I can't shake the feeling that Michkov is a full tier above the rest.

I can't explain it, I can't defend it, but I would bet a lot of money on it.

He has that enigmatic aura hinting at major all-time greatness. His depth is more unfathomable than Bedard's, Fantilli's and Carlsson's.

He has that little corner in his potential where he could obliterate the league by a gazillion points every season and do Gretzky-esque stuff.

Ritchie stats look good. But I never seen him play. So don't know. Good size for still 17. Probably play 6'3 210lbsish. I would guess. Stats improving so he hasn't plateaued. What you see him big, 60 point second line center?

Looking at the stats Yager 166lbs concerns me though. He's rated top 5 by some on here. PPG player
Weight stats aren't concerns for Yager, but production is. He was known as a goal scorer, but only scored 5 goals so far this season, and only have one goal on the ES (one SHG one Empty Net two PPG) meanwhile most of his assists was from power play.
I watched his game, he had some score chance, but just chance. The skill is there, he could heat up, but he needs to prove more IMO.

Since the brass seems hell bent on NOT taking Russians, I think we really need to step up and start a campaign pushing for Montreal to take Michkov if available.

This can be done if we propagandize radically enough.

We should NOT let them pass on the next Gretzky-esque player. He belongs in Montreal, the real hockey mecca, the domain of the victors.

Only a goal every 2 games, what a bum.

well I'm willing to throw out his entire rookie season, hlinka etc. gotta overreact to small sample sizes.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but he has now added playmaking to his arsenal, in order to be a more dangerous player, at the expense of scoring less goals.

I don’t know what he is thinking.
