Does Leonard play with Tkachuk's edge? Few do.Yep good comparison, a smaller Matthew Tkachuk seems fair.

I’m warning up to Dvorsky. Kid can absolutely rip it. I personally think he’s more a winger.Nobody can answer that at this point, I like Dvorsky more than Slaf but Slaf is such a unique player who will likely have a unique development curve....too hard to call. Put a gun to my head and I take Dvorsky and then **** my pants waiting for the answer.
I see a lot of people saying if we pass on this or that and draft Leonard, I'm a lose it. Feels like Brady Tkachuk all over again. I'd be more than fine taking him as of 5 especially if we've decided that Michkov is a no draft
Dalibor is a pretty bad ass name not gonna lie.One positive thing about Dvorsky. He has probably the coolest name I've ever heard from a hockey player. Makes me want to change my 2 year old Canadian daughter's name to Dalibor.
Yeah definitely not at the expense of skill but no one will ever convince me size isn’t a plus. It’s almost like there’s this weird reactionary thing going on here where it seems like being big is a knock against a player lol.Hopefully I don't get a bunch of quotes from draft purists as I'm not advocating size over skills but the Habs need a mix if prospects in their pool, so they better grab a few more forwards with size.
Yeah exactly.Yeah definitely not at the expense of skill but no one will ever convince me size isn’t a plus. It’s almost like there’s this weird reactionary thing going on here where it seems like being big is a knock against a player lol.
I prioritize size now a lot I find. More than I used to. Come playoff time it’s a factor
The reaction is against size as a priority at the top of the draft (1st round). Because size is much easier to get than talent in trades.Yeah definitely not at the expense of skill but no one will ever convince me size isn’t a plus. And 5’9 isn’t exactly a speedsterYeah exactly.
Obviously don't take Wood over Bedard because Bedard is 5'10. Or Fantilli over Bedard because of size, but if you're sitting there going "I like these 2 players with our next pick" and those players are 6'2 and 5'9...
Paul Byron disagrees.And 5’9 isn’t exactly a speedster
Byron had absurd wheelsPaul Byron disagrees.
I remember one year when McDavid won the fastest skater at the all star competition, then Montreal had their own skills competition and Byron smashed McDavid's time lol.Byron had absurd wheels
We'll be picking 1st, 32nd and 33rd.Man pisses me off that PITT lost agains Chicago in their last game and did not make the Playoff.
From #14 to #29 now,,
Loved Byron. Really too bad about the injuries. Clutch goal machine. Just a beautyI remember one year when McDavid won the fastest skater at the all star competition, then Montreal had their own skills competition and Byron smashed McDavid's time lol.
We already took a better version of Wood in Slaf… that’s how I see it anywaysIf we’re willing to take Slaf at 1 I dont see why they wouldn’t take Wood at 7. Slightly higher risk due to skating but upside is enormous
Lottery only applies to the first roundWe'll be picking 1st, 32nd and 33rd.
Not too shabby if you ask me.
Haven’t seen it.Does Leonard play with Tkachuk's edge? Few do.
Last year we took the Slovakian Ogre and Goblin so it only makes sense that we get the Orc this year to complete the trifectaHopefully I don't get a bunch of quotes from draft purists as I'm not advocating size over skills but the Habs need a mix if prospects in their pool, so they better grab a few more forwards with size.
Yep he is a small skilled PF, plays with an edge, great motor and strong competitor all over the ice. only worry for me is if he will be able to play the same type of game at the NHL level and avoid injuries, kid is tough on his body.Does Leonard play with Tkachuk's edge? Few do.
That's my worry when it comes to Benson personallyYep he is a small skilled PF, plays with an edge, great motor and strong competitor all over the ice. only worry for me is if he will be able to play the same type of game at the NHL level and avoid injuries, kid is tough on his body.
