The fact it's almost a lock we get one of Michkov, Smith, Reinbacher, is pretty fooking exciting.

No disrespect to Leonard, Dvorsky and Benson but they don't move the needle quite the same as i think these three would for us.

i know he used to work for SKA but is it true hes father still works for them ? because that would definitely be huge for us on intel
I read on this the other day and no, he's 73 and used to work for them. Still might have ties though, who knows.

I did the draft simulator, which remains hilariously broken every year.

Everyone good if I just phone this into the NHL now?

(5) Leo Carlsson, C
(17) David Reinbacher, RD
(37) Michael Hrabal, G
(69) Aram Minnetian, RD
(101) Tanner Ludtke, C
(110) Connor Levis, RW
(127) Felix Unger Sorum, RW
(133) David Edstrom, C
(144) Timur Mukhanov, C
(165) Griffin Erdman, RW/LW
(197) Adam Dybal, G

Why do the Habs need to move up for a D, let alone a low ceiling one like Bonk? They need forwards and high potential ones. Bonk is similar to Engstrom (worse).
Because he is a RHD (a need), 6'2'', two ways, to play with Hutson who is all offense. There's no sens in that?

I mean let’s wait until the lottery balls are dropped, but if this is how they fall I’d be over the moon. Lol

Willander is great, I really like him. With that said, drafting someone to pair with a defender that is a minimum of 16 months away from making a NHL debut, with a large uncertainty factor is for all intent and purpose, stupid.

Draft BPA and use the strength of your roster to fill your depth chart, not your draft picks.

Yup. Didn't get Hrabal though.

It's fun .... lol

One thing for sure, Habs will grab a very damm good prospect with 5, 6 or 7. (5-6 it's much more probable than 7). Will Smith make a case to be drafted at top 4, maybe one of Michkov or Carlsson will be available at 5. we don't know. But we already know that Habs will grab one of Benson, Reinbacher, Yager, Leonard, Dvorsky or Moore. That's really really good.

Nope, Scouch has since deleted his presence online. I think he got hired somewhere or he did something to take his tracking stuff in a more monetary direction.
Yep, I watched his videos and he really changed his tune on Michkov after seeing him play for Sochi. Had him real close to fantili for 2nd

Assuming Smith is taken, we skip Mitchkov and are dead set on a forward who do you take— Benson, Leonard, or Yager?

Dvorsky.

Haven't we learned from Slaf?

If you can't dominate your current level, you shouldn't be moving up.
He’s playing in a men’s league already. A move to the AHL would be mostly lateral and an effort to get him accustomed to North American ice and culture.

That would be ideal. Wouldn’t mind seeing him at the World Championships after the U18s, then AHL next year. Not sure his contract situation though.

I believe because he will be a 1st round pick, he would be able to jump to North America right away even if he's under contract in Europe because of the transfer agreement. If it's a 2nd round pick or later, then it's either NHL or back to Europe if they're under contract with their European team (similar to how Norlinder (a year ago) and Heineman (this year) had to be sent back to Europe rather than stay to play in Laval).
