Only fools dont change their mind, I will take it. His shooting skills easpecially are allright, still question his puck management at times. Kid is showing the beast right now, thats what you want to see from a top pick.
So, can we agree you were wrong when you claimed Slaf was a better pick because hes a physical beast ? Adam Fantili is one of the most impressive physical specimen in recent history, probably more so than anyone I remember since... Kovalchuk?

I never claimed he was a better prospect, I said I liked his overall package more, that the gap was closer than what people thought. I still think the same. You are badly underrating Slafkovsky power tools. Lets see how Fantilli looks in the NHL next year first. Slaf is also late birthdate, Fantilli is an early one, we dont know what Fantilli would do in Liiga and we dont know what Slaf would have done in the NCAA last year.

There's no debate who's the better prospect between Fantilli and Slaf... Won't be surprise to see Fantilli putting 60pts next year as a rookie.

Who's said it wasn't special that has slight relevance in the scouting community?

You've got people saying Barlow is ranked around 10 yet playing hockey that gets drafted top 5 in most years. You've got 3 or 4 players ranked from 5 to 13 that are considerably better than Cooley and Slaf from last year.

This is by far the best top 10-15 since I cant remember when

Smith and Benson are on a similar level to Cooley. Smith/Benson are expected to go 5/6 in this draft, and Cooley went 3rd overall last year.
So Slaf would be the 5th best prospect in this draft.

PLD, Fantilli, Slafkovsky, Anderson & Dach is a hell of a heavy offense. We should be fine to have a few small forwards in Farrell, Caufield & RHP.

Of course, first we need to actually draft Fantilli.
Looks decent, but I'd switch RHP for another small forward. Just got this on Tankathon (Florida's back in the bottom 12 PPG, so their pick is Bedard eligible).

It will be interesting to see if Fantilli plays at the next WC and if he can surpass Slaf's numbers and overall tenure.
Yea but I don't put too much into a tournament. I'm really interested to see what he do as a rookie next year. A lot of talk about his IQ butI think he's going to be a force. It sucks so much not to have (likely) a top 3 pick this year.

I'm easily taking Barlow and Wood.

On a serious boat, how many here think Bedard is a centre in the NHL ?
