Simashev has been popping up in the 1st round on a few lists lately, has anybody seen him? Purely stat watching but at 6'4 with average numbers (10 in 26 MHL, 0 in 15 KHL) I'm assuming his skating must be at least decent and probably good?

All this tells me is there is a somewhat agreed upon top 6: Bedard, Carlsson, Michkov, Fantilli, Smith & Benson are pretty much on everyone's lists in top 6 with slightly different orders.

After that it's a complete shitshow.

The only way we don't rush the player is if they draft Michkov and are forced to send to KHL. Apparently they have no interest in him so there goes that hope.

If my foggy memory serves me correctly (I can remember decades old useless hockey dialogue but can't remember what chores my wife asked me to do yesterday), Mark from HP called it that Wright would fall to #4 or further and that he hoped the cameras wouldn't be focusing on him that entire time.

Why would Benson be the one thats stapled in at 6 and not Heidt, Cristall, Leonard or even Reinbacher?

I love Benson, by the way. I think its actually Smith that hasnt separared himself from that group, but for discussion sakes.

A very disappointing haul if you ask me. Legit prospects, but I really hoped for a guy with more potential impact than Slaf, Suzuki and Caufield. Oh well... theres still time.
