He's worse than Skinner defensively and offensively. On his ass half the game, wiffs on great set ups, and not that wingers are big difference makers defensively usually, but he is nothing in that end too.

People liked to act like he had some intangibles or something as justification as to why he keeps getting minutes and Skinner rotates between scratches and 4th line time. It's just bad decisions by the coaches.

RV needs to go for an upgrade. He'll be the Barrie in an Ekholm like deal for a real top 6F, atleast I hope so. No clauses, so much easier to move than Skinner.

Hockey media is bizarre.

If this were football or basketball you would have multiple personalities loudly declaring that the “generational” accolades were premature. With hockey they have to all pretend that isn’t the case for reasons I don’t understand. Because it might be a little mean? Just strange.

Hilarious that Pickard has to watch Stu flounder for three straight games only to put up a period like that.

Also hey that Soderblom guy is pretty good, maybe even better than Skinner, huh Stan? Give me him, Murphy, and one of Donato or Dickinson and I can see this squad going places.

No. i think it's the coach destroying his confidence and trying to play Knob's way. He also has to play mistake free or he gets benched

I don't.

By the time he eventually got fired he was probably 10 years past his best before. He didn't/couldn't remember half the players in the league and his hockey "insight" was boiled down to various quips, one liners and onomatopoeia.

I think the fact that SN has been unable to find something not even HALF as entertaining in over 10 years is far more appalling.

Love nothing more than we defer clean shooting looks from the point so we can miss a slap pass to the corner.
