Not Yzerman’s fault. They don’t draft high enough to get superstar centers. Need to find gems instead with later picks.

I disagree. 8th is pretty high. I would've taken Savoie or Lambert last year. And then Benson at 9th this year. They have high potential. Obviously not Bedard level, but 1st line/top 6 upside.

Yeah, strange how he was ranked high via Bob's consensus rankings polled by scouts. But as they say, all it takes is for a team to like 1 player more.

Cristall is the bigger steal at this point in my opinion though.

Boy, the NHL continued to prove everyone right at how boring they can be. This draft is such a snoozer.

I just don't know how people want to make it entertaining? Circus performers? Live music? Dumb skits? It's just people walking up to the stage and saying a player's name. Not sure what you do to make that a spectacle.

Only hockey nerds are watching anyways.
