OK so we have the 10th or 11th overall pick because Washington choked by anyways
Lets assume

Bedard
Fantilli
Carlsson
Michkov
Smith
Benson
Moore
Reinbacher
Dvorsky

Are all probably going to be off the board so that leaves us with
Barlow, Honzek, Leonard, Danielson, Sale.

Personally I would choose Danielsson or Honzek otherwise I would Trade down. I can See Detriot taking Honzek at 9. Washington taking Moore/Dvorsky at 8th. I think Arizona will shot for offensive upside so they may draft Smith or Benson. Montreal will almost certainly go for a C. I could see them picking Dainelsson here but the safer bet is probably Smith or Benson. I could see Columbus picking Michkov at #2 so that leave Fantilli at 3 to Anahiem and Carlsson to Chicago at #4 and Bedard #1.

Interesting enough I could see the Captials Trading for Miller which may involve a swap of 10/11 for 9 plus other assets

I could see Montreal trading down and acquring some more assets (maybe with Arizona) so they can take Reinbacher which would give Arizona a much better offensive player to play along side Cooley and Schwaltz.

My Trade down Target would be Nashville. They have the 16th and 26th picks would means we would probably have to trade a 3rd to even out the trade but there are quite a few players at the bottom of the 1st early second round that I find interesting projects

Sale or Barlow would be nice to have in the system. There is always a faller too in our range between 10-11 and at this point you take the biggest swing or add some grit.

@Canucks LB just replying to your comment from the tank thread. Who ever we end up getting at 11, I’m pretty sure you will be pumped lol

Also, there’s not only blue chips in the top ten. A team with no prospects can’t trade this pick imo

I always am a sucker for the draft, I just really hope one of my favourites drop.

One can dream!

I wonder who the faller will be? Cristall maybe?
I’ve seen him play a few times, not really, that impressive, reminds me of Kyle, Wellwood.

That being said, he does have a little Johnny Gaudreau in him, could be a good offensive player, nonexistent defensively.

We need a banger on this roster so badly. I’ve heard Barlow plays like Brady Tkachuk and I think we need it in our pipeline. I’d be happy with a gritty gamer.

11 OA… Meh…

If someone good falls to us, great. If we can get an under 25 top pairing defenseman with it, or a great young 2C, I’m fine with that too.

So 11th or 2nd…or 1st.

11th overall after basically being out of the playoff race since December just feels unfair
The mental backflips people have gone to in order to justify why it was totally inevitable, not effected at all by management and coaching choices, and actually a great thing for the franchise to move from 5th to 11th in the draft is really something. Doubly so after we just went through all that pain last season to draft 15th and have it all mean nothing for the future of the team.

Anyways... there will be a great player available at 11th. Regardless of if we draft that great player or not, it'll be fun to see how this draft plays out.

Yeah.

Those bozo posters make this place not good for anyone's mental health, including their own.
