Lots of 18 y/o players struggle a little at their 1st WJC. He will dominate next year assuming he goes. He didn't rack up points 2g 3a but he has a lot of nice tools to work with. Lafreniere had 1g 0a in 5 games in his 1st WJC .. he was probably the most dominant player in the tournament in his 2nd year.
Yes he is young compared to other players at Juniors who did better.

I tried Tankathon and got Bedard after about 15 tries. :) Hopefully this is our "miracle" draft year.

Assuming Trent Mann and Dorion are still running the show this summer, Colby Barlow is the most Sens pick ever. He just checks every box for them.

In recent years they've always opted for the bigger, athletic, projectable player over the smaller, cerebral, hand-skills guys.

And watch out for Ryan Leonard. He's often ranked ahead of Barlow and is perhaps even more of a Sens-style pick.

Leonard is another guy for sure. I like Leonard more because Barlow looks like he physically peaked about three years ago.

There are a lot of guys to like the 10 15 range: Leonard, Danielson, Sale, Dvorsky, Barlow, Honzek and Gauthier to name a few

Nate Danielson is a guy that may not get internet scouts exited but he’s a kid that I wouldn’t mind if the Sens pick from 7-14.

Just a complete player already at his age, great tools, great toolbox, has been involved on something like 40% of all his teams goals this year, I think only Bedard has a higher percentage this year.

Amd I think he is a kid that has a high floor and a high ceiling. I see him in the mold of a Alex Tuch.

I hope the Sens take some swings this year on upside. Not alot of skill and scoring upside in the system anymore.

Unreal game tonight but man I hate being mediocre. Playoffs are a pipe dream and we’re nowhere near bad enough to land decent Bedard odds. This team needs another elite talent through the draft but knowing the Sens we’ll probably pick 12th or something.

Tbh at our range I'd probably go for Sale. Would like to add more skill.

Based on Bob's list and our current projected draft position, I'd select Sale. As of now, I have him sixth on my list. This may surprise some people, but based on the same criteria, my next pick would potentially be Dimitri Simashev.

If Michkov is somehow available at our pick and he goes to Arizona I will shed a single tear.
