As if how the draft goes matters. People who are saying there's no risk he comes over aren't saying Michkov WILL be drafted high we're saying he SHOULD be drafted high.

Well apparently he doesnt like his competitiveness much, doesnt think he will be a center in the NHL. He says he is close to be NHL ready, but likely a PP specialist until his game rounds out. Says he needs time and space to produce. Thats about it.

Anyone have his list? I need a good laugh.

I don’t think Carlsson 7th is that outlandish. I have him 4th but he’s closer to Smith and Dvorsky than Bedard/Fantilli/Michkov. No doubt he’s big and skilled, but the foot speed is quite poor and he has an underwhelming shot.

Surprised we haven’t see a Wood>Carlsson hot take from one of the Wood truthers yet lol

Wood makes Carlsson looks like a comet, Carlsson is much stronger in his puck battles too. Wood can be soft at times, especially along the boards. Thats not even close.

Yep Grant has been a huge Dvorsky fan all yr long, Dvorsky has been ranked 3rd for a while.

An interesting quote from Recrutes:

A scout who attended the NHL Combine told Recrutes that Michkov won’t be one of the players under consideration by the Canadiens. “I’m hearing they won’t draft him, “ said the scout. “People think they are targeting Reinbacher or Leonard.”
