Yeah i know its early but 2022 draft discussion started pretty quickly too last year.
So far its #1 Bedard and #2 Mitchkov but after that what are players you are interested in for the Ducks ?
I don't see Bedard falling like Wright did at all. Who will be this years Slaf and Cooley ?

Blanket warning to everyone - the season is over, the active tanking is over, and everyone needs to remember how to get along.

Polite discussions of different viewpoints is fine. Assertions as to who is a good fan, who is a bad fan, and most particularly trolling behavior is going to result in thread bans and warnings. The vast majority of posters here are great about this. There are a few of you, on both sides of this issue, who are trying to start things, and I would advise you to carefully consider if that snarky comment you just made is worth being your last post in a thread. I would advise the folks who think that making an even snarkier response to make that same assessment. Neither of your posts will be seen by anyone else for long regardless.

It is perfectly fine to not understand how anyone could root for the team to lose. It is perfectly fine to not understand how losing has strong benefits to the franchise king term. There are gaping holes in BOTH positions, that may be discussed and debated…POLITELY.

We are all Ducks fans. Time to remember that and stop being at each other’s throats.

I really like Benson as a realistic pick this year.

I dont feel confident we will end up with a top 3 pick.... i imagine we end up 5-10 range(unless we get help with lottery balls)

Awww you mean Anaheim doesnt get yet another event? Color me shocked.

1st overall pick? Nope
Draft? Nope
ASG? Nope

People need to stop being upset about this. Anaheim doesn’t have anything compare to what other teams have to offer.

Bridgestone is on broadway in Nashville. You walk out of the doors and you are within 1 block of 50 bars and restaurants.

Honda center has nothing compared to that. It would be a terrible location for the draft and even worse for the allstar game.

Yikes.
Anaheim has hosted allstar games in MLB.

Dude we aren’t getting an event until OCVibe opens. It’s been discussed numerous times.

I actually thought about that after my post. I haven't been posting here for too long so not sure what discussions had happened about it before.

It's a good point, once the vibe is going its more action in the area but at the same time, it's Anaheim, there is a TON to do in the area.

I'll drop it until OCvibe is going, but if we still haven't had an event once that's been established, I'll harp on it again.

I trust Otten's judgement far more than guys like Wheeler and Pronman...he knows his stuff.

You can tell that he's seeing these guys several times per season and really able to chart their growth, because they are all in one league. As much as the guys you mentioned and others may try to be experts on prospects worldwide, I just don't think there's enough hours in a day. At best, the viewings for each guy are going to be too thin.

Colby Barlow was named captain of the OHL's Owen Sound Attack, I believe their first seventeen year old captain in franchise history.

Brock Otten compared him to Cutter Gauthier which seems apt, I also can see some Landeskog in his game. A big, fast, hardworking winger with scoring ability (30 goals as a sixteen year old OHL rookie) - sure would round out this forward group nicely.
