So who you guys liking at 69? We still have a bunch of picks. I wonder which G we will take?
that lineup wouldn't be able to play at 5v5In a few years:
Caufield - Suzuki - Roy
Slafkovsky - Dach - Newhook
Farrell - Beck - Heineman
RHP - Kidney/Kapanen - Ylonen
Hutson - Reinbarcher
Guhle - Mailloux
Xhekaj - Barron
Engstrom
Montebeault
Dobes
Really need the young forwards to hit their potential
We shall see I guess.
I wish Hughes would have taken a few maybe we would have Matty Michkov nowBro take Xanax you seem a little too rattled.
Lolol Sportsnet. They had Bruins missing the playoffs before the season started. Bruins ended the season with 135 pts.Sportsnet has us as the losers of the draft, along with Arizona. Had to argue with them.
Good point-- not so big on Suzukithat lineup wouldn't be able to play at 5v5
unless suzuki suddenly becomes actual 1st liner caliber at that
He made right call. We don't need another Smurf in the lineup.I wish Hughes would have taken a few maybe we would have Matty Michkov now
What else can they say - they are rightLolol Sportsnet. They had Bruins missing the playoffs before the season started. Bruins ended the season with 135 pts.
We are the losers of the draft as of today, we picked by need with a top 5 pick in one of the best forwards groups in years. This isn't saying things can't change in the future... but I would say 93% of habs fans are going to bed tonight with a sick feeling in their stomach.Sportsnet are worthless clowns. I would put more stock in TSN analysts. And are they counting Newhook with Reinbacher.
Now if Hughes was counting on acquiring another late 1st or 2 I would lose confidence because he should know most GM's don't have the balls to even trade a late 1st.
Someone who is not currently hired as a NHL scout and therefore unlikely to know as much as our actual scouts and management.Who the fook is that guy
Nobody have a single clue what the draft will look like next year and where we will draftThis was the year to get the offensive stud since it's an F laden draft. Next year is more D heavy. We won't win without elite talent. Chicago will reach there before us.
NHL.com thinks Hutson and Reinbacher have top 2 potential. Although michkov is good, if he was that good he wouldn’t have went 7 OV to PHILLYEven if he reaches his potential he’s viewed as more of a #3 or #4, at least from what I’ve read by multiple scouting services. That’s fine and all, but you want more with your 5th overall pick, especially when the alternative is a damn near generational forward who is there for the taking.
- wait till you see him play in the NHL - he is putting up better numbers and other stats than past Russian players who have played in nhl should add and presentHe made right call. We don't need another Smurf in the lineup.
That forward group is way too small/soft.In a few years:
Caufield - Suzuki - Roy
Slafkovsky - Dach - Newhook
Farrell - Beck - Heineman
RHP - Kidney/Kapanen - Ylonen
Hutson - Reinbarcher
Guhle - Mailloux
Xhekaj - Barron

Well the same goes for us finding our missing elite F or 1C.Nobody have a single clue what the draft will look like next year and where we will draft
Remember when we where the winner of the draft in 2012 and everyone was in love with that draft ?Sportsnet has us as the losers of the draft, along with Arizona. Had to argue with them.
No #1 C where available at 5Well the same goes for us finding our missing elite F or 1C.
1. You don't draft based on next year's draft, that's just ridiculous. This was the year to get the offensive stud since it's an F laden draft. Next year is more D heavy. We won't win without elite talent. Chicago will reach there before us.
Agree for the softThat forward group is way too small/soft.
I put elite F or 1C. An elite F was available at 5.No #1 C where available at 5
