And Yankees have been the clear underdogs in pretty much each one of these series'. Almost giving the Astros too much credit for just continuing to do what they do meanwhile the Yankees continue to shoot themselves in the foot as per usual.

As much as I want Judge back, this team needs a clean sweep. The offense needs to be completely turned around since it's clear that they don't have what it takes to beat actual good pitching the playoffs

The week off really screwed up the timing and swing for Judge.

Having a week off in baseball is a punishment. It doesn't help. You're better off being a wildcard.

Houston is the exception because they are built differently and have the best pitching staff... but you can also look at a guy like Altuve with 1 hit.

Cashman, Boone and Judge will be free agents after the season. Cashman probably is safe. To the chagrin of many Yankees fans, Boone is a good bet to return, too.

Judge?

NJ Advance Media is hearing the same thing that Buster Olney of ESPN reported on Saturday night: The San Francisco Giants are planning to go very hard at signing Judge. He grew up an hour from the Bay Area rooting for the Giants, and they’ve emerged at least as a co-favorite along with the Yankees.

He's going to the Mets. That maniac Cohen is going to double anything else he gets.

Steve Cohen just watched his worst nightmare.

The Mets had it all - trumpets - pitching and the Phillies stole if all like the grinch …

A nightmare night for Mets fans .

Met fan here: Literally don’t care.

What happened to the Mets is embarrassing and Nats/Braves/Phillies in rapid succession is like "oh come on!" but I have hope for the Mets.

Hope is everything. It's the only thing. Right now it sucks but someday it could happen. That's sports. That's the only reason you keep going.

I am wholly devoid of hope for the Yankees until Cashman croaks and he's not old.

The social media propaganda gestapo is already putting the excuses out there. They're going to spend another winter telling themselves and nobody else that they built the perfect team and the universe hates them, and come into 2023 worse. Probably without Judge.

Judge was cold before the playoffs started, the HR chase added pressure for him and he’s not a guy who does better under pressure it seems.

I was hoping the time off would help him get his swing back, but it only made it worse.

It would be very Mets for the Astros to complete the mockery and lose a world series to seemingly every single team in our division lol
