Take away judge and the Yankees are an 80-88 win team or worse .
We don't even have a 14 game winner .
It's all patchwork.

I can see the Yankees winning games 3 and 4 at Yankee Stadium with Cole and Cortes going as well. However, I don't trust them to win a game in Houston, though.
I cant.We can't hit a ball to save our lives.

Astros simply own us.No other way to put it.With a healthy DJ and Benny maybe we have a chance, but not now.

Yeah, the Astros win with homeruns. Nobody is saying don't hit homeruns.

But the homer they won on tonight was hit like 75 MPH off the guy's hands over a wall 280 feet away. The Guardians had like 25 infield/bloop hits.

When you strike out 15 times a game, you can't get lucky.

The Astros don't seem as good in Yankees Stadium. This is why home field was important to get, but I digress.

I know it's Houston, but if we're being honest, this was a close game. Without knowing who the teams are, we'd say it was a close one with the difference being the one mistake pitch to Bregman. Why the hell did the catcher call an inside fastball to a very good inside fastball hitter?

It wasn't really, though.

Every other Yankees batter strikes out and Houston has something going every inning.

This was like an NHL playoff game that was 3-2 and shots were 52-20.

The Astros figured out that with today's piss-over walls and flubber balls, you can put the ball in play AND hit for power.

This has somehow escaped the Yankees despite having a piss-over wall in their own stadium.

The Astros had ten base runners, the Yankees had 7. The Yanks pitching has been very good.

Problem is the Astros top 2 have been better.

Cash could have given Verlander the bag, he chose to trade for IKF and JD.

All he had to do was Non tender Gary, keep Gio.

Cole and Nestor now have a chance to do the same as 1-2.

Hit dingers, win games.

Aaron Boone talking about the roof is embarrassing. You’re the manager of the New York f’n Yankees. This loser mentality has set into the franchise and there are all of these excuses.

I hate the Astros, but they’re taking care of business.

People think I'm an angry fan. I'm not. I just have particular things that set me off.

I just want to enjoy watching the sport, and if you make the playoffs, have a non-zero chance to win.

I'm not a happy camper when I'm watching a script play out. The Rangers fell into this for years. Get mercilessly outshot, win enough because of Henrik, make the playoffs, it doesn't work there, repeat. And for most of Hank's career, I was convinced -bet my house CONVINCED- that we weren't winning the Cup. At that point, participation becomes obligation, not entertainment.

That's where I'm at with the Yankees. They don't have a non-zero chance. I would bet my life without anxiety on Houston winning this series. And it's for the same reasons; been the same reasons for several years, and the team doesn't see the problem.

That's why I'm more chill on the Rangers at the moment. They still have problems, but they're not scripted.

With the Yankees, I'm sitting through a movie I've already seen to the point where I know every line, and I didn't like it the first time.
