Do the Yankees have a leader to call a team meeting ?

Boone is a squid and so is judge … he’s a smiler a PC kids favorite…

There’s no verlander no Pedroia no scherzer no big papi no Molina no jeter etc ….

This is a group of guys

This is on judge to spark the team back on track …

Last 42 games ?

Yankees are .500

That’s a huge body of work .

No bullpen, no rotation, no lineup. Biggest paper tiger I've ever seen. I can't remember a worse lineup with a good record.

This team is a science experiment to see how many games Aaron Judge can win by himself before he cashes in with a competent organization.
Oh, come on. You're 70-39. You could replace Judge with Shesty and be talking about the Rangers lol. You need a baseball @PuckLuck3043 to talk you off the cliff.

IKF features an 84 wRC+, indicating he’s 16% worse than the average player. While his defense isn’t his worst variable, his offensive production this season has been next to nothing. While he does host a .274 batting average with a 32% on-base rate, he’s failed to hit a homerun and has struggled with runners in scoring position the past few weeks.

The Yankees are watching Peraza dominate but refuse to use him:”

Pete Rose dismisses sexual misconduct questions at Phillies event: ‘It was 55 years ago, babe’

The Yankees have the record they do because their slapdash mediocre pitching staff all head Kevin Maas first halves at the same time. That was never sustainable.

Did we really think 29 year old journeyman Clay Holmes became Mariano Rivera on steroids? Did we really think Severino was going to finish a season?

The two biggest areas of need for the Mets, catcher and 3rd base, have their top prospects in AAA now. Next season, the team should have little to no holes at all plugging the young guys into those spots. Veintos/Baty competition for 3rd with Guillorme as insurance.

See if someone will take McCann and Escobar and use that 20M to pay the free agents. Of course Cohen can spend whatever he wants, but you don't want to just blow through the tax every offseason.

The franchise is setting up to be good for a while.

I mean, that WAS Cohen's goal. He could spend a bunch of money and trade the farm and win a WS right now if he wanted. He has that kind of money. Blow through the cap, pay the draft pick fines, etc.

But he wants sustained success. I really love the fact that he wants to win now but not at the expense of continued success going forward.

It's a lofty bar.
