Meant for both teams. Resign Judge due to lack of asset cost?
Yes, that, and right now HE'S A BETTER PLAYER THAN SOTO!!

You can take your laugh reacts and stick em where Joey Gallo don't shave. I'm stating facts. Crank up the Google machine and look up Wins Above Replacement. Get back to me.

Over a short window (and I want another WS yesterday) Judge adds more to this team.

As for what it would take to acquire Castillo, in terms of prospects, it's been reported by Heyman that the Reds want one of New York's two top shortstop prospects (Anthony Volpe or Oswald Peraza). Whether that changes over the next five days remains to be seen.

Peraza is going.

Or should be. No one prospect hugs like cashman does but I think he knows whats up this time around.

Volpe should only be available for Soto.

Sorry but why not just have both?

The Yankees won't even sign Judge. They're going to sign both?
They should sign Judge and trade for Soto. You get 3 shots at a ring. Cole will only be in his prime for so long. Trade for Castillo too. This is the year for them to go all in.

If the Yankees don't go all in, I'm here for the fans trashing Cashman. He's been very good, but you have to strike while the iron is hot.

You may not win a WS, but you would have done everything possible to make it happen.

Damn Castillo to Seattle

Judge is better than anyone including Ohtani and soto .

It’s not close

Soto and Ohtani are available at the deadline, but the biggest acquisition at the deadline is Jacob deGrom.

When October rolls around, he's one of one. Nobody else is better.

Get the pieces needed to make a run at it.

Yankee fans who don’t want to re-sign judge need to get their heads examined.

The Mets remind me of another team, can’t quite put my finger on it though #LGR

I want the Mets to get Soto.

I think the issue is the Nats don’t want to trade him in division. They have the assets and motivation to get him. I still think he ends up here as a free agent in a few years.

What makes you think that the team that trades for him won't end up extending him?

Losing out on Castillo was a kick in the nads, but apparently Seattle gave up a ton. I'm not as keen on MLB prospects as I am NHL, but is Volpe really so good that he's essentially untouchable? I'm not high on selling the farm, feel like this is a year to push the chips to the table and go for it.

Eitherway, the Yankees have to get another arm in rotation. I think another bat shouldn't be off the table either, because the bottom of the lineup doesn't scare anybody and Donaldson has been a disappointment.

He's probably the same level as Marte, who was just traded.

Cashman loves to prospect hug and doesn't have the balls to go the distance, so it makes sense that the Yankees would come up short for Castillo
