It's looking more and more likely that it's Frederic in the press box to start the series and I'm wondering if Zacha or Bertuzzi will be play 3RW.

And I'm pretty shocked that it looks like Gryz is sitting. That's a tough one to justify.
My guess with Grzy (if indeed it plays out like that) is because FLA is a fairly big hitting team. Set the tone for G1 with a more beefy Bruins lineup.

On the other hand, think about the fact that we are at least contemplating having both Gryz and Freddie sit because there is no room at the inn.

I strongly suspect FLA won’t have as many tough personnel decisions to make.

They were 25th in the league in hits this year. Bruins were 16th.

Has someone put something in Maurice’s water? His recent comments (if legit) sound like my HF posts. Lame humor, mainly because I’m angsty about he playoffs starting and have too much energy.

Problem is my comments mean absolutely jack shit. He’s a professional Hockey Coach — not some dude getting up for open mike night at the local comedy dive.

Thanks. I’m surprised and certainly didn’t realize that. I just assumed they were higher. 25 is pretty low.

I guess bottom line is that the Bruins have too many qualified players to ice at the same time. Very nice “problem” to have.

1) Monty has pushed all the right buttons this year. Whatever he goes with, I trust. That trust has been well and truly earned.

2) Wherever you come down on the Forbert/Gryz issue (and fair arguments can be made on both sides) the bottom line is Forbert is clearly a very good PK - which is critical in the playoffs — and he did play a lot of games in a historic season. If Forbert being in the lineup is the biggest worry, then I’m good.

As it stands we are a long way away from that season where we were forced to ice depth Dmen 9, 10, and 11 in the playoffs. I put it out of my mind, but we might even have had #12 in a game or two.
