The Boston Bruins are proud to select Cam Squires…

@bopeep

In pre-season, I had Squires going 2nd-3rd round, but he had a bit of a lull around mid-season, and I dropped him. He's been really hot lately though.

It's a really solid pick this late in draft.

Our scouts were pounding the tables last year to draft this kid who was one of the youngest prospects available playing U18 in Sweden. We decided to be patient and this season he's been ripping up the U20's. The Columbus Blue Jackets are pleased to select at #193 from Leksand, Hannes Hellberg.

Big thanks to @MarkovsKnee once again for putting it together and to all you guys for participating . It was a lot of fun, I'm looking forward to doing it all over again next year :D

A big punishing RD, Wolfenberg will head off to play for Cornell next season in the ECAC.

Columbus Blue Jackets selections:

1 (1) Connor Bedard (C) 5'10 181 Regina (WHL)
1 (24) Dmitri Simashev (LD) 6'4 185 Yaroslavl (KHL)
2 (33) Michael Hrabal (G) 6'6 209 Omaha (USHL)
3 (65) Luca Cagnoni (LD) 5'10 172 Portland (WHL)
3 (77) Luca Myatovic (LW) 6'2 181 Seattle (WHL)
4 (97) Gavin McCarthy (RD) 6’1 181 Muskegon (USHL)
4(114) Connor Levis (C-R) 6'2 194 Kamloops (WHL)
5(160) Ivan Anoshko (C-L)) 5'10 168 Dyn. Shinnick (MHL)
7(193) Hannes Hellberg (LW) 6'1 183 Leksand (SweU20)

Add Columbus to the growing list of teams that will have a strong prospect pool after this draft. Aside from 1OA, I'm pleased with the choices that would compliment well the likes of K. Johnson, D. Jiricek, D. Mateychuk, K. Marchenko, C. Ceulemans, S. Svozil, Luca DBB and J. Dumais. I had a blast doing it and am looking forward to the real thing.

Cagnoni at 65 and Levis at 114 are excellent value.

Bedard, Simashev and Hrabal is also just unfair.

With the 197th pick, the Florida panthers are proud to select Daniil Bourosch from the Q, Royun-Noranda

Scouting report: Daniil Bourosh built his game around his shot. Every play he makes, every pass, and every route he takes toward the offensive zone, they all serve one purpose – getting open to fire from the faceoff circle. When he does reach that spot, every puck that touches his stick is immediately fired on net

43. Nick Lardis (RW) - Hamilton Bulldogs (OHL)
107. Cayden Casey (F) - Andover (USHS-MN)
139. Dan Harkimo (F) - Selects Hockey Academy @ South Kent School
171. Joe Conner (C) - Avons Old Farms Prep School (USHS)
197. Daniil Bourosch (F) Royun-Noranda (QMJHL)
