To, že sa slovenská hokejová reprezentácia do 18 rokov prebojovala prvýkrát od roku 2003 až do semifinále, je z veľkej miery aj jeho zásluha. Z pozície kapitána totiž ťahal celý tím aj na ľade. Syn slávneho otca však svojim talentom ohuruje už dlhšie. Záujem z NHL je toho jasným dôkazom.
