Wood is probably the biggest riser lately, maybe Danielson but not everyone has the same opinion on him. Although that's also true of Wood, though less so.

I wish I could predict that Wood could improve his skating to NHL standards...he'd be a top 10 pick if so.

Let someone like STL who have an extra late 1st take that risk. I'd rather risk a teens pick on Sale for a pure upside pick. But id much prefer taking Moore at 12 than either haha.

Seens like Moore is getting a ton of love lately too. I feel like he has had a bit of a Cooley mis-scouting early on and now people are seeing the full potential. I'm still digging deeper but he seems like a.mini Alex Tuch to me. Or a Toffoli clone with Garlands radius

Evidently Philly is listening on everybody (according to Dreger).

If we don't win the lottery, I would definitely move our 2023 1st and a bunch of the 2nds we have over the next 4 years for Travis Konecny.

It's rare that you can get a chance to acquire a quality player like him (if he's truly available). He's only 26 and has 2 years left at 5.5 AAV before he hits free agency.

Stay on the course, we already ruined our previous rebuild by trying to rush it.

If we would make a move like that, it would be for a defenceman

Man, kind of have to take Michkov (unless something is known about his availability).

I would be tempted to trade down with Philly and let them draft him.

You don't make moves like this in a rebuild.

If Michkov is available at our pick, I definitely - DEFINITELY - trade down and get more assets unless there's someone I like a lot better available there too.

Michkov has elite talent. His KHL contract is for 2 more seasons. If they thought he would come over after that, I would take him at 6. 2 years in the KHL is not exactly terrible from a development perspective. It worked out fine for Kaprizov. I guess it comes down to the talent vs the risk of being able to bring him over.

On talent there's an argument that he goes at 2. I have him at 3 on talent.
