This dude looks like he's got a good combo of speed and slick hands. Looking pretty good for an overager.

As far as overagers go, I've been looking at this kid:

Someone's going to have to slide, the top 10 is loaded. And it could very well be a winger, in favor of a center.

Well yeah, who knows what will happen. I'd love a high pick in this draft, but if we have one it likely means something went wrong this year. We seem like a bubble team who will pick 12-16. But we shall see.

I say this Detroit team finishes with a top 10 pick.

Too much change to make the playoffs, and that's not a knock on the UFA signings.

I just don't see the team gelling into a playoff spot.

EDIT: if I had to hang my hat on a player that would work for Detroit in this early range, it'd be Carlsson.

--Don't have a good feel yet for Nate Danielson as a player, will have to see if I like him or not.
--Have heard people knock Benson's skating... not sure that is a concern for me. Still pretty high on that player.

I’m someone who loves the draft and gets really invested, so no offense to everyone else here but I have no idea how you guys get so invested already about players who will be 2nd or 3rd rounders. Especially with our drafting which routinely goes off the board for pics. Maybe I’m just bitter from us not taking Noah Warren but it’s hard for me to see myself getting that interested outside of the 1st or early 2nd round this year

Unlike past ,4 drafts I don't really care much, we going to draft around 15 coming draft and our prospect pool looks decent. Just hope we concentrate less in overages coming draft and try to get most skilled prospects, we got plenty size and physicality, let's concentrate more on skills and speed

He does seem interesting, and I would gladly use a top 90 pick on him. I just don't see the Wings doing it with Cossa being the golden child at the moment. It's probably time to start taking some goalies though in case he doesn't work out in a few years.

Yeah, I think the vast majority of guys I have discussed in this thread (outside maybe 1 or 2) will all go in the first 2 rounds... but maybe I'm biased

Ones again, we should concentrate only on first round picks. We have plenty depths and we need to draft first line players.SY should trade up and get 1 or even 2 extra first round prospects. He could even trade our 2024 first round pick just to get as strong 2023 draft as possible. Rebuild is over. Have a great finish Stevie
