At nine I’m happy with Leonard, Dvorski, Reinbacher, or Moore. Not so happy with Danielson, Pellikka, Cristall, or Perrault. Whatever happens I will be satisfied that Steve and company know a little more than I do and I will get behind whoever they pick.
Perrault has potential become first line, Panarin like , maybe even better.

Finished a mock.

@My Cozen Dylan draft

#9. Leonard
#17. Wallinder
#41. Nadeau
#42. Gibson
#43. Pitre
#73. Brzustewicz
#117. Cheslock
#137. Townsend
#169. Khazheyev
#201. Hay

A lot of players I wanted ended up getting picked high.

Still, I think that's a good class.
I don’t know anything about the last 4 players you picked. My only concern would be did you draft any centers?

I think Nadeau at #41 was your best pick. I’m really high on him.

Thanks. I think Townsend could be a center.

EDIT: I think Hay might end up a Glendening type.

What universe do you see this happening in? Cause it ain’t this one we live in
I agree with you…It was just how the “realgud” simulator ran. Only thing i did that could affect anything was maxed out the “randomness” selector. Id shart me pants if we got a haul like that, haha.

Just watch bunch of interviews with Michkov. Looks like his father was very important in his life, hard to imagine what kind of effect on Matvey was end of his father. Michkov looks kinda tight , but not like a-whole at all.I don't believe he is a bad person, just don't bring a lot of emotion during interviews. Interesting fact , Crosby is his favorite player, wonder if Pittsburgh is his destiny

And he suddenly becomes generational leaving Bedard far behind. Can't imagine how happy I would be :(

I have a feeling that anyone who is going to pass on him will look like a fool 5 years from now

Nadeau at 41 - yes please. Think he’ll get taken before that though.

You never know, but I watch couple games Michkov on the same line with Buchelnikov and seems like they did not click together, don't understand why. In interview Michkov also was talking with respect towards Bedard, wished Russians playing in tournaments and his goals less important than team win

Just went through some video on Rehkopf. I think he’s gotta be a serious target with those second rounders. Big, good skating, solid defensively, can play center, really nice shot, and uses his size pretty well. Hands could stand to improve a bit but I think he fits with what we need and are trying to build really well. Also one of those guys who should see his counting stats go way up next year when Pinelli is in the AHL. If we can’t land Barlow with one of the firsts, I’d really like to see us get Rehkopf

I like him a lot. Has one of the better shots in this draft and plus skill and measured in at 6’2 at the combine.

The knock on him is concerns with his compete though, so I don’t know it Yzerman and Draper will be a fan.

Only if we also take his teammate Hunter Brzustewicz with another second round
