Two goals already today when they were on the ice. They must stay together. Agree with Czechboy - perfect bottom 6 line.

And Kempny already 1+1 after 1st period against Slovaks. We dont need NHL defenders if we have this beast in the team lol

Jokes aside, I dont like him very much, but he is good enough for WCH and considering how our D looks this year, one of the best we can field.

I dont know, to me he feels like really slugish, clunky defender which is making a lot of mistakes. He was terrible at last year WCH and since the injury he hadnt looked very good.

But he had a good season in Sparta, so maybe this year it will be different we will see.

Today's roster... Chlapik down to line 3 is concerning.

Also, that Top 4D may all be on the final squad... hopefully with Galvas and Jiricek and Stan as number 7.

Hopefully Stan wont ve nr.7 but rather one of those slugs like Scotka or Jordan :D

Yes Galvas please, plus Kostalek hopefuly will join. And there Is still hope Knot can come too.

Jiricek, Svozil, Kostalek, Galvas, Knot, Kempny, and the seventh doesnt matter lol

Svozil would be great with a guy like David Musil.. stay at home to cover for the mistakes when he goes on offence. An old school 1980's pairing! We will see. He may be better today than I thought he'd be. He got points against Canada at WJC, in the NHL and in the AHL. Seems to be 'in form' and we don't have many D in form right now.

Stil pissed about Klok!
 
Nice game going on... Another 2-2 in OT.lol. Slovak goalie has looked great! I'm guessing Tomek?
 
Team looks good So far. To be fair Slovaks didnt had exactly strong squad for those friendlies and their team will look very different in that 12.5. WCH match. But we also can say that at least half of this team Will be changed before the WCH so good games from us so far.

Guys I know it sounds crazy, but considering the circumstanses. How about Tichacek for the NT ?? :D He was great at WJC and I would rather see him there then burn out Jordan or Scotka :D

Hyka, T. Dvorak, Kostalek, Langhammer, Sedlak and Cervus is practicing Prague with Duda!

Leaving:

After the duels with Slovakia in Ostrava in the Euro Hockey Challenge, goalkeeper Štěpán Lukeš from Karlovy Vary, defenders Michal Moravčík from Sparta and Pavel Pýcha from Mladá Boleslav and forwards Kryštof Hrabík from Pilsen, Adam Najman from Liberec and Luboš Horký from Kometa Brno are leaving the team.

Pavlat is also leaving once Vejmelka and Langhammer arrive.
 
Rockford won the preliminary round so Galvas is probably not happening :(

Rochester down 0:1, but Kulich still not playing, So even if they get kicked out, there Is still possibility, that he wont go because of injury.

Tuscon tied the series 1:1 so maybe no Knot either :(

Damn... I really dont want to sit through the whole WCH watching Jordan and Scotka outplayed by Canada, Sweden of Finns lol. I only have one nerves :D

The third match is on 29.4. (dont know why there Is such a ridiculous gap between second and third game lol)

Toronto leading the series Is suprising, but also not what we want.

Also Frk is free, I hope they at least are considering him, he can be a real firepower boost on PP

I've read interview with Frk and he refused.
After many years in North America, his family is moving to Europe (he'll play in Bern) and they have to arrange everything.

Frk in Europe is fine thing for EHT tournaments next year. And next year is WCH in Prague. I can imagine that there will be a lot of interest among the players to play in Prague next year 👍😉

Damn why cant we have anyone this year :( so many refusals, injuries, weird coaching decisions (Vrana) .. I am sick of it
