NO PLEASE! He is terrible in national team and always was. He is a one club player. Only can play in Trinec. Everywhere else he was always terrible

Frk wouldn't make the final roster. He is the same type of player like Martin Růžička (Třinec). Goal scorer until the game reaches certain level of skill/speed combination, then he is lost. Neither a great skater nor defensive player, his hockey sense and creativity are also very limited. He has got a terrific shot but that's it. I expect him to be a very good player at the club level in Europe, just like has been in the AHL. But will probably never make any bright international hockey career, just like he never earned a real spot in the NHL.

No mention of Mrazek which I find strange since he is on a coin for us.lol
Vanecek is being considered as well (shame he lost his job to Schmidd who has been very good in replacing him)

Mirinho was right! Hrubec is coming.

No matter how many NHL goalies we have, the federation will always find a way to start a Euro guy. It's amazing to me how determined we are to do this over and over.

Many times our medals were picked up by goalkeepers from Europe. I don't know if it's worth focusing on Vaněček, for example, who didn't have a good second half of the season and completely burned out in the PO (so far). Unfortunately, there is no Vladař, we have Vejmelka and I am satisfied. The role a player is willing to accept also plays its role in the formation of the team. Three goalkeepers from the NHL would not be good for building a team at all (I don't know what's wrong with Dostál, I would definitely take him as a number two, there's no dispute about that). As for the defense, it's a good thing they want Knot. The defense doesn't look good at all. I'd like Svozil to make the team (and Jiříček of course), but I'm still not sure if he's already in the men's championship. Preliminaries will tell more, if he can handle the EHT matches at the same level, we will all be happy.

I think that trio Vejlmelka, Hrubec, Stezka will be fine. Of course if Vanecek is free I woulld want him too. (he will probably replace Stezka and Hrubec will be the 3rd goalie)

If Knot comes thats amazing. He is not superstar but still better then guys like Jordan or Scotka.

Shame that most of the series are not going well considering nt. Toronto up 3:1, Carolina 3:1 Boston (but that was expected) too. Gudas wont probably come dont know about Faksa or Rittich.

But I really hoped that we could get another 3 guys from first round, but it doesnt look like it so far.
 
From NYR vs NJD battle I'd rather have Chytil over Palat + Vanecek

I'm quite surprised that GM doesn't mention our Rochester boys (Rochester is one match from elimination) or Blumel at all ...

And I can live with Vejmelka - Hrubec - Langhammer, if Veggie will start as number 1 goalie (although I would rather take Stezka over Hrubec or Langhammer)

But my dream goalie combo would be Vanecek / Dostal and as 3rd goalie Stezka ... so maybe next year in Prague 😂

Chytil would be so nice! But I'd be fine with Palat. He is the reigning Zlata Hokejka. We will probably get neither though.lol

To be honest, I wasn't even considering Vanecek. I was fine with some combo of 2 NHL guys and 1 Euro.

Blumel is a name I'd love to hear!

Stezka is not in the selection, although it should be.

Wait a second, Stezka didn't even get to the camp? Surely it must be his decision/injury, right? He was outstanding in the playoffs.

Second part: It's always nice to have new players and meet them Svozil and Jiricek are both good and have a chance to make the squad. They have to fight though.

Regarding Kari, he speaks in English to everyone and in his interviews.

He is smart, would not suprise me if he learned czech in just 3 days lol.

I do hope to see both Svozil and Jiricek, both are already good enough for mens team. Always fun to see young players in WHC. Is it too much to hope for David Spacek aswell?

Good News, Knot Will join national team. So we have Jiricek, Svozil, Kostalek, Knot, Kempny. Not superstar D, but a solid ground

I'm starting to see our Top 6 as Jiricek, Kempny, Knot, Galvas, Kundratek and the best remaining Euro (probably Jordan). Svozil as the 7.

Yes, I know Galvas has not been released and is still playing.

Galvas will be nice, but the would have to lose the series 0:3.

Yeah the system is completely Pejorative Slured, there was also that some teams were still playing preliminary round, while other were already playing first play off round :D

Weird league, but a quality one

So Krejci injured and Pasta out of scoring form came in a worst possible time for Boston. They may even lose the series, which would be awesome for NT. But I kinda wish the SC for them this year.

What about Francouz if Colorado gets kicked out? I would take him all day long, he hasnt played much games, but when he does he is amazing. Its ridiculous he is not a nr1 goalie in NHL. He probably would need to be traded for that. But duo Vejmelka, Francouz would be lit!

I wouldn't be suprised if it turns out Pasta is playing through some minor injury. You can tell that his movement and pace is not even close to where it was at the end of the regular season and I somewhat doubt it's just him being upset about not getting on a scoresheet.
