And the ref who was standing like 5 feet from the whole thing was a professional and didn't call it.No, simply no. It was an intentional hit to the head, no matter it was with Koch's shoulder. Try to say Your opinion to a player who suffered multiple concussions during his career. Plays like this are dangerous, have serious consequences for players' health, and should have no place in hockey at all.
PS: The "guys on the TV" were experienced former professional players who knew what they were talking about, exactly because they have the experience with such dirty hits.
Intentional hit to the head. I won't repeat myself again, it is pointless. Bye.And the ref who was standing like 5 feet from the whole thing was a professional and didn't call it.
Those play by play guys have no idea what they're talking about. If they claim that the hit was dirty because Koch made no attempt to play the puck, they simply don't know the rules of hockey. There's no rule like that and you know it too.
Sure.Intentional hit to the head. I won't repeat myself again, it is pointless. Bye.
Yeah we will see next year, if this year is just a bad luck and it will be again allright next year, or if Havlat is bad, or something is wrong between staff and NHL players. They have 3 more potential guys too ... they could be stacked! Germany had a real chance at a Gold team this year to but got the declines.
Not sure if Havlat is lying or the players but there is something not right. Every year but this one has had a better turn out so I can't complain too much. Maybe next year will be better. I even read a Galvas interview saying he'll do everything to make next years team. He's sitting in Europe watching this.lol He wants to come!
Kampf nolineup is full they just said it ..... I HATE THIS !!!! I have never hated our team more then this year lol .... hope they win gold, that will show me
Fire Havlat please, and Jagr please go and straighten up those NHL "stars" again like you did in 2010 so they start coming again lol
The D is terrible, It will not be enough against top teams. Boring, completely boring roster, just bunch of overaged slogs like Sobotka or Jordan. Only a few really interesting players to watch. Hrubec being nr1 instead of Vejmelka. Literaly nothing why I should like the team.I really don't understand why do You "hate" the team, especially after they won the opening game vs. very good and competitive Slovakia.
? Where did you hear this?Vozenilek is heading to NHL, do we know which team ?
I like that too, but he will not play if I am to guessI'm probably the only one.. BUT.. KAUT IS HERE!!! So happy!
We will see, I dont see anything on the EP yet, not even in rumours. But tbf I was thinking about it couple days ago. That I would not be suprised if Vozenilek signed in the NHL(AHL) for the next season.? Where did you hear this?
I welcome any Extraliga guy to jump the NHL. It rarely happens though. I'm assumign he maybe has a 2 way contract offer and is headed to the AHL?
This is top post! It should be published in czech sport news. Everything is so trueIt's frustrating this year as we aren't getting as many names as last year. Canada and US got it worse.
But you see the Devils lose and the Swiss and Slovaks are tweeting at 5am Czech time that they are coming and they are in Ubers to the airport. Russian players used to be like this too.
I think the frustration is with the line that 'I've talked to everyone and everyone wants to represent'. That's bullshit. It was said earlier by Old Man. If Havlat visited Boston and said 'hey Pavel, want to represent if you guys don't make pleyoffs or get eliminated in round 1' and Zacha said 'f*** off, I hate the national team'. I'd respect that more. Instead Havlat says he wants to come.
For a less comical one.. is Palat. He has a very legitimate reason to not go... he just played in 3 straight Stanely Cup finals and has been injured and had a mid season surgery. I absolutely don't blame him for not going. But didn't he know that 3 months ago? It' brings up 2 questions:
1. Why is Havlat saying they all want to go?
2. Why aren't they telling him in February that they won't be available?
Who's at fault here? Eg. Hertl has a totally great reason too. I support it but he was aware his team wasn't making the playoffs and that he had a family when Havlat did his little visits to NHL clubs.
I guess what I'm getting at it... after those winter visits to NHL teams. Havlat should come out say something like...
'We have 30 NHL guys. I've talked to all of them. 10 don't have a contract next year and definitely will not arrive unless they get a new contract. So no Gudas or Kampf this year. 5 more have had surgeries and are playing through injuries and said they cannot make it this Spring. 2 more are having babies and want to be with their families'.
Something like that. Instead.. it's all want to come and then one rejection after another.
It's been frustrating. Especially in the last few days where I'm seeing Seider, Nemec, ehlers and Fiala coming on over!
I find the team really well composed. The D is terrible, It will not be enough against top teams. Boring, completely boring roster, just bunch of overaged slogs like Sobotka or Jordan. Only a few really interesting players to watch. Hrubec being nr1 instead of Vejmelka. Literaly nothing why I should like the team.
I dont know, of course I will root for them and cheer like crazy to win every game. I just cant connect to the team like the years before, just so many players I dont like or think they should not be there are in the lineup and similarly lot of players I would like to see and think should be there are missing .
Just really hard for me to like how the team is composed this year.
I love the forwards.I find the team really well composed.
Thats spot on, I also find the attack good, would like to see Vrana there and no Sobotka but otherwise is good.I love the forwards.
I love Vejmelka.
The D is weak.. there is no way to pair those 8 guys and say it is a good D. Mostly just collapse and bang it off the boards... very hard to transition and I can't see any of them getting more than 2 points in the round robin. They aren't great defenders, they aren't modern defenders and they have limited offence. It's ugly.
I like our Semi chances.. we will see how it goes. The clean win over Slovakia could be huge for us. Swiss look to be the big dogs in our pool now.Thats spot on, I also find the attack good, would like to see Vrana there and no Sobotka but otherwise is good.
Vejmelka also great, but if we gonna play Hrubec over him we are just idiots.
But the D is so terrible, its scary. How can we leave at home guys like Galvas or Svozil and istead bring Nemecek and Jordan. Nemecek is even on ELH level completely average defender, what is he doing in the nt is beyond my understanding, and Jordan is a chapter for himself.
Thats maybe the problem, why I dont like the team. I just hate the D so much, that I cant see that the goalie (but Vejmelka only) and offense are actually good lol.
Edit: I still think we wont get past QF this year, cause the D will just not be enough against the strong teams.
Once again: I was watching Svozil live. He's not yet on the WCH level. Maybe as the 7th-8th defender. Don't know much about Galvas. Please, stop praising everybody who is playing in the North America over anybody who is playing in Europe. The hockey game doesn't work like that.Thats spot on, I also find the attack good, would like to see Vrana there and no Sobotka but otherwise is good.

We will never agree on this ... Vrana is elite player and period. Svozil and Galvas are better then Nemecek and Jordan and period. I am not praising everyone in North Americe. But in those cases I am just right. How is Nemecek good ffs he is a completely forgerable player even in ELH, Jordan was never good and he is way past his prime.Once again: I was watching Svozil live. He's not yet on the WCH level. Regarding Vrána: He never convinced me in the national team. When Vůjtek benched him, he was hated by fans. When Pešán benched him, he was hated by fans. But when two coaches bench you in two separate competitions, it is not the coaches' problem, it is clearly your problem. Jalonen gave Vrána another chance last year, he was one of the weakest forwards on the team. Once again. This is not a problem of the coaches but of the player. I know some fans may get crazy over him for being "sneaky" and having a great shot, but... hockey is more complicated than that. Simply, no.
OK, that's Your opinion. We will never agree on this ... Vrana is elite player and period. Svozil and Galvas are better then Nemecek and Jordan and period. I am not praising everyone in North Americe. Svozil got one match and like 8 mins, how can you know he is not on that level. He played very good in those few NHL/AHL games + already has 2 season with Kometa in ELH behind him. It is very possible he was just tired or whatever in that match. He should have stayed to at least end of Brno and if he then still wasnt good enough, then he should be cut off. But not after one match after 8 minutes lol. Thats just completely idiotic.
And he and Galvas has at least some skill in offence, that is what we lack and badly need cause only Kostalek is capable of doing something offensive wise up in front. As Czechboy said, our D is ugly and outdated. Just collapsing, slow, unskilled guys. But in modern hockey defenders needs to know ho to attack and they also need to produce points, creating chances etc. Who from this lot we have on WCH now is capable of that? Almost no one.
So yeah I stand by it, Svozil should be there and Galvas too. You think Nemec or Knazko are more ready then Svozil?? But they are there and its not like because we have so much better D then Slovaks and its a bigger competition in our D this year. Definitely not lol. Its because Slovaks have balls and are not so f***ing set in their ways and are actually playing modern hockey. Not like us. We are are stuck somewhere in early 2000s with this.
You will never convince me that Svozil and Galvas should not be there lol, they are just overall better then most of our Dmen right now.
Yeah and what you say is yours. I stand by mine, you stand by yours. Lets just leave it like that.OK, that's Your opinion.
