Unless Kreijci is so disheartened by what happened after such an amazing season for the team that he decides to call it quits in Boston - so he won’t worry about a new contract - and opts to join the national team for one last hooray.

OK, that is completely unlikely but you never know. Right now I cannot imagine any of the Boston players wanting to play any more hockey at all for now. I am completely devastated for Pasternak & co, and I am just a fan sitting on his behind at home. Can’t even begin to imagine how depressed the players must be feeling.
I misspelled “Pastrnak” in this message. And I am both Czech and a hockey fan, and sober. 😀Early onset of Alzheimer’s.

They are professionals, I am sure they can put the disapointment behind quickly. Palat also came to WCH in 2019, when he was in similar situation with Tampa. I think this should not be such a problem.

I see the chances of the guys coming as follows:

Pasta 65-70% - Sure he must be extremely dissapointed not bringing home the cup after the amazing season he had, but he is also a big patriot a loyal heart and he generaly seems like a guy, who is just always hungry for more hockey. I believe, that if he is healthy he will come, but if he says no, its completely understandable and no one can say a word against it. He always come through for national team so far, so he has every right to just rest if he wants to.

Krejci 10% - without contract and he was injured during the series, so its very unlikely he will come. I give him 10% cause as you said, he is a 37yrs old veteran and a Boston legend and he is in a position, where he can just say "screw it, I dont care where I play next year, I just want to play with Pasta at WCH lol." But as I said its very unlikely.

Zacha 50% - He literally has no reason not to come this year lol, but we all know how it is with him and national team, so I dont hope for anything. I guess, that if Pasta comes, Zacha will too, but if not, then its really a 50/50 with him.

Zboril 80% - I am sure he will want to go, but the problem is if there will be an interest from our coach. And even if they want him, I am sure he will come to play in Brno and he will have to earn his spot in the final lineup.

Nosek 10% - Without contract, he probably wont want to risk it, but you never know.

Lauko 0% - I am sure he will be send back to Providence for AHL playoffs.

Francouz 50% - I really want him, he could be a really good duo with Vejmelka. but he was injured a lot also during ther season, so I dont know if the club will even release him.

As for the AHL guys I guess this is it and no one will come anymore sadly :( (maybe Galvas). The last match for Rochester is on 7.5. so Kulich and Rousek wont be available for Brno and I am pretty sure Kari wont take them straight to WCH. Same for Lauko and I worry also Galvas (althoug there is a small chance).

Man that AHL playoff format is so stupid lol, such a ridiculous gaps between the games ...
All sounds plausible, though I would allocate lower percentages to Pasta and Zacha in terms of likelihood of appearance.

The Czech press (isport) indicates Krejci does not intend to extend in Boston (but is also right now not in the mood to join the Czech team at the worlds “unless Pasta decides to go and persuades him”). Let’s see what happens.

Thats what I am thinking also. It will all depend on Pasta. I believe if he comes, there is a big chance Krejci and Zacha will come too. Otherway we may not have any of them (eventhough there is a rumor, that Zacha already promised he will come, but I will believe that when I see it lol)

Anyway Vozenilek and Jerabek will join the team from Trinec.

I am glad about Vozenilek, he can be a good addition and eventhough I think he has a small chance to make the final roster, he can definitely fight for it.

Not so glad about Jerabek. Another clunky, slow and overaged defender meh. Not what we need.

Yes, agree with all that.

Just a summary, but there is no mention of Francouz, so I guess they are not even counting with him.

I guess his chances to come are also very low, but I thought they would also approach him, he can be a nice boost as a backup goalie.

I was really hoping to hear he is coming but I think Jalonen feels we are set in net despite there being some very good goalies available.

When was the last time a Francouz played a match? Probably a few months ago. I understand there is no mention of him.

What I see: Pasta, Zacha, Zboril and Lauko all have contracts for next year and are available. One of Chytil or Vanecek/Palat become available tonight (all with contracts). Francouz is avialable now with a contract.

My starter at the World's will be Hrubec.
My first line will be Cervus with Sedlak and Smejkal.

We have a legit chance to send a gold contender here with 2 NHL goalies and a very good forward group!

Something tells me it won't look anything close to that.

Kari is not interested in Francouz (feels the goalies are set.lol) and Lukas Jasek.

Horak is back soon and looks good. Jiricek is still hurt (hip) but seems to be on the right path.

Every answer to the Boston Bruins questions are with Martin Havlat!

Damn that kinda feels like they wont even be interested in Vanecek if he is available lol.

Just give us the Boston info already :D (I know its too soon) I want to be either hyped or dissapointed, but this not knowing is the worst lol.

If we get 3 NHL players after round 1 I'll be happy... ecstatic almost.lol But I'm banking on 1 to 0.

Zboril is actually one I'd really want!

Jiricek, Zboril, Kempny, Kundratek, Jordan (let's face it, he's coming), Knot and whoever they want us 7.

Then one of Pasta, Zacha, Palat or Chytil.

That's me being optimistic. Nedved gave us better rosters!

What drives me crazy is that we have a lot of very good players available and aren't even considering them. Vrana, Francouz and Mrazek come to mind.

Blumel vs Galvas.. I'd gladly take whoever loses this series for the NT! Without hesitation.

When did Francouz play his last game? I wouldn't invite him either. The team needs players who have recently been playing at least some hockey.
April 9th!

Vejmelka's last game was April 13th.

Mind you, the game before that was in February for Pavel.lol

Speaking of not playing... Kulich and Rousek are in a 2 - 2 tie in a best of 5. If they lost they are available.. they have a full week of before game 4.lol

Syracuse and Rochester are about 150kms apart... further than Brno from Prague. They could legit walk 20kms a day and get to the next match.lol AHL is weird.

He had got just a few games this season. It is better to bring in a goalie who had a good season in Europe (Langhamer) than a goalie who was a backup almost the entire season in the NHL.

Unfortunately, they probably won't invite Kulich or Rousko like that, which is a huge shame. I think both would have a good chance to make the roster. I don't understand the week delay either:facepalm:

They're done... I agree. Even if they lose.. I don't think Kari will look at rookies without some time in camp first.

I'm not enjoyjng the building of this team at all.lol

Galvas may be available Wednesday! And your fav Teply!lol

This 5 game series will take 16 days 😂

For example, the 7 games series between Boston and Florida took only 14 days 😂

As you said AHL schedule is weird 😂

Yeah I ranted about it earlier today, that AHL playoff system is completely stupid. Like 7 days between mathces?? What the hell are they smoking down there lol.

Its 100% that they wont take them straight to WCH, which is a huge shame. Kulich would be a beast I am sure of it.

Chytil is available. He'd be great on top line with Cervus!

Hajek is without contract and may be sent to AHL anyways. I'd take him though.
