Because he's loaned to Torpedo. Plenty of European prospects sign their NHL deals, but still proceed to spend the year in Europe.

The point of signing the contract now, is obviously to make him eligible to play in the spring. Cut off date is in December I think?
Alright, thanks!

You must’ve been born yesterday if you don’t understand that every member of the Avs organization was given a scripted response for questions about Nuke.

Not one word from any of them reflects their own thoughts and beliefs.
It seemed like Cale was really struggling to find the right thing to say, and teetering on not revealing what happened.

Is there ever any reports out of training camp that a player looks bad? Or is every player in the best shape of their life and taken a step forward in their development?

Who are your favorite camp success stories that never amounted to anything? I remember that Joakim Lindstrom looked great with Staz and Jones and then obviously fizzled

I liked the way his eyes darted down when the question started. Like he's so pure the thought of lying was causing him physical pain. @The Mars Volchenkov get working him, he'll spill before the end of the week.

So he’s saying that it was a joint decision between himself and the team for him to leave and that it was for family reasons.

Not much to be gleaned from there. Kinda weird that he could’ve played second round, but bailed out on the 1st round.

Time to have a monster year and make it up to the team, and be done with the incidents.

On a seperate note, Val’s English has come a long way.

Pretty sure he's known enough for a long time, but puts up a front if asked to speak to the media.
