I’m not a baseball fan, so I really don’t care, but those baseball players make ridiculous amount of moneyWho cares the dodgers won’t win anyway . The early 2000 NYR baseball version (go Sox!)

They’re truly living the lifeThey can also drink beer before, during and after games
I was going to start it last game, but to be honest I was less motivated than Mikko was.I'm curious as to how much longer Big Moose's goal drought lasts before the "trade Mikko" banter starts?
He played center for Finland at the Word Juniors I think if I remember correctly. He was the Captain too. That simply is not true
He played pretty much his entire time at center in the AHL, and has played center a few times in the NHL.
Personally I think it's fkn stupid him running his own line at center hasn't been explored more, but it is obvious it's not happening at this point.
He’s already checking out houses in DenverLindholm looks so disinterested on the ice for the flames today . Wonder if he is checked out of Calgary ?
Interesting times for multiple teams.Lindholm looks so disinterested on the ice for the flames today . Wonder if he is checked out of Calgary ?
Don’t expect anything from Pittsburgh it seems they will just keep all their guys regardless. But Jake Guentzel would be niceInteresting times for multiple teams.
Penguins, Flames etc. Some good players potentially available.
Yup… carried by the top guys. Once they stumble this team just can’t consistently win. Also let's not forget that before that losing streak the ONLY reason we were winning was because Makar was carrying the team with 2PPG pace.
The team has been bad all year.
Yep . This can’t go on much longer . Top guys will burn out again and won’t make it past round 1Last year we were missing a 2C. This year it feels like we are missing the entire second line.
A big reason the second line seemed fineish was Rants was playing well away from MacK. Right now that isn’t happening, so it seems worse. That’ll reverse some, but the 2nd line is a major issue. There is not way to distribute minutes well and everyone other than the 2nd line is laying too much.Last year we were missing a 2C. This year it feels like we are missing the entire second line.
Yeah, and it feels like the lack of a second line now has players like Colton and Wood and a few others are gripping the sticks a little tight. I think everyone realizes they're in a bad way and are trying but... man a few wins would probably make them all feel a lot better heading into the holidays.A big reason the second line seemed fineish was Rants was playing well away from MacK. I feel for guys like Colton, Wood and LOC. they don’t have the natural talent to be those difference makers, but being asked to do so. Not really a fair ask of them.Yeah, and it feels like the lack of a second line now has players like Colton and Wood and a few others are gripping the sticks a little tight. Only way they're getting rid of RyJo is packaging him with a high pick or top prospect, agreeing to retian 50% of his cap hit, and getting next to nothing in return. No one wants him.I assume that Tatar can be waived/traded fairly easily. It needs to happen tomorrow.
RyJo I don't know how they can replace him in season...unless they find a Kuznetsov retained sort of swap where another team NEEDS to get rid of another bad contract ASAP and that player is also a center.
Which isn't realistic in a world where we need all out cap space + our good assets to find a replacement at 2C. We don't have the luxury to retain and/or pay to dump him.Only way they're getting rid of RyJo is packaging him with a high pick or top prospect, agreeing to retian 50% of his cap hit, and getting next to nothing in return. I think you just pay whatever it takes to get LindholmNeed a 2C. Simple as that.
No idea who's actually available outside of Lindholm... But whoever is on the market they need to get. No more half-assed attempts to fix it. Pay the price and give this core an actual opportunity to go win again.
Personally I would literally pay whatever it costs to get JEE. Byram + Ritchie + 1st + if that is what it takes.
