Blake is going to have to get creative and trade at least one of Roy/Moore sooner than later to address this goaltending situation. Cam Talbot is no longer a quality starting goaltender in the NHL, and Copley is a fringe guy. The Kings have a nice collection of offensive talent, but I don't know if they are going to be able to outscore the terrible goaltending and the questionable defense. Roy can be replaced by Clarke and Moore can be replaced by Laf or Turcotte. With $5m+ in savings.

The Kings lack a championship caliber 1C, a championship caliber 1D and a championship caliber goaltender. It's just tough to call yourself a contender when you don't have any of those things, even if the offensive depth is good. Star players still matter a lot. Colorado has 3 players better than anyone on the Kings, 4 if you count Landeskog.

Roy had been a surprisingly good scorer as a trailer off the rush, but it’s beyond obvious that we should have waived one of Bjornfot or Englund and had Clarke or Spence playing tonight.
Spence shouldve been in there - no brainer.. a solid PP QB and RD, no way anyone claims Englund.. eventhough Id rather risk Bjornfot, Englund is a safe bet

There is something very wrong with Blake, there is no way Talbot/Copley helps get this team to take the next step.

If it was the Ducks then maybe I'd be more pissed but Healthy Colorado with 3 top ten guys on a very good team alright maybe it might not sting as much. I blame Biz for predicting us to win the cup. Although I know that loser is just trolling.

In the history of the league, has any GM started off 2 consecutive seasons with worse goalie tandems than Blake? Id say not

This team isn't a Stanley Cup contender regardless with a goaltender. Who thought this team was a serious contender on here? Until the goaltender is fix, (and) some toughness that can score is iced, this team will be just a playoff team.
