i think you come into a locker room with some of these abrasive personalities like rantanen and mackinnon and it rubs off

i'm a bit hopeful that eventually we move on from kopi and doughty and PLD has some of that to offer the kids

Colorado just has game-breaking A-level stars and the Kings have a nice collection of B-level stars.

This team just desperately needed to find a true gamebreaking forward between 2017-2021, they could have drafted one, they could have traded for one. Instead they gave up a lot of assets for B-level guys.

Fiala is incredibly fun to watch, and I do see the Palffy like talent comparisons, but the reality was, Ziggy would have needed to be the #2 or #3 guy behind a true superstar too.

This team actually reminds me a lot of the turn of the century Murray teams. They will just need to find a Potvin to put a scare in people in the playoffs.

Doughty can still be a very good and useful player, the Kings and their coaching just refuse to adjust their deployment to what Doughty currently is

If they reduce Doughty's role then that takes away the justification for cancelling the rebuild because he said he's still a top player that's running out of time.
