Suchanek has a 2.29 GAA and a .924 SV% in 14 games. He’s only given up more than 3 goals in regulation once.
EDIT: These numbers weren’t updated with today’s game. He actually now has a 2.13 GAA and a .931 SV%.

At this point I have to assume that we have told him we will sign him to an ELC that begins next season. I’m not sure what the date is when you can sign those deals though.
It seems insane that the Ducks or frankly any other team haven't signed him yet. Hopefully the Ducks get it done.

It could be that teams want to leave contract spots open for the TDL as well as possibly leaving room to sign college players to burn a year of their ELC. Anaheim's currently at 47/50 contracts. One is going to be allotted for Cutter when his college season is over with. Another could be for collegiate Colangelo, who's displaying his goal scoring moreso this season. That would potentially bring the Ducks up to 49/50 contracts.

Shots at the end of the first period were 25(!)-5. Suchanek the only reason the game was 2-1 Calgary
Gulls getting outshot 26-8 but lead 3-2 on second period goals from aggozino and caulfield.
Aggozino scores again and the gulls lead 5-2. Multi-point nights for him, regenda, Olen, and gawdin.

Gulls win 7-4 despite being heavily outshot. Five point night for gawdin, three for Olen. San Diego scored five PP goals.

The Ducks next call up needs to be whoever is running the power play for the Gulls.

he looks pretty legit…. Very under the radar.
Dostal flew pretty under the radar too. Maybe it’s because they both are on the shorter size in terms of goalies
