AHL.tv isn't working for me today so I haven't watched this.I saw Comtois scored a couple and also fought Howe which is kind of crazy. This would be the first time in any of the wolves games I've watched that he'd be at all noticeable. He looks like a pretty basic AHLer.

edit - I got it working enough to watch the last 2 minutes of the game. The Gulls blew a PK they badly needed and went down 5-3. On the next shift somebody low-bridged Carrick and Carrick was going to let it go but Perreault rag dolled the guy and then Comtois jumped Perreault. And then it was madness. And the Gulls got a PP out of it, so hey. Point is, been liking what I've been seeing from Perreault.

Great first for the Gulls. Having De Leo back has really seemed to settle the lines. The top 3 lines each have solid duos, with De Leo-Perreault, Gawdin-Nesterenko, and Gaucher-Tracey. That 3rd line is feisty as hell, I hope both Gaucher and Tracey figure it out because they're pretty entertaining after the whistle.

Hinds had a couple nice plays including a great 2-on-1 defense early on. Zellweger is a zone entry machine, he leads the rush and (when he's not knocked off the puck) either takes a shot or sets up zone possession.

Cooney mentioned that all the Ducks brass are in the house tonight.

Zellweger almost had another, a bomb from the point that trickled through the goalie but got swept aside before it crossed the line.

Cooney is amazed as Milwaukee keeps trying to enter the zone on the PP on Hinds's side and keeps getting turned away. "They should really try to enter on the opposite side." Eventually they bring it in on the near boards against Helleson and it works. Hinds was really shutting the door there.
