So gonna likely see…

Z - Leo - Terry
Vatrano - Mac - Strome
Killorn - Rico - Silf
Silf is good at puck retrieval and passes ok, both killer and Henrique like to shoot. There’s a nice balance there, eventually leason probably gets a shot on that line

Admittedly I don't know a ton about Killorn but based on his age I'd guess speed-wise he is probably a good fit with Silfverberg, too?

Probably the prudent way to ease Killorn back into the fold. Then move up to the supposed "top line" when Carlsson is managed off the ice. We might have put too much on Drysdale's pallet, considering he missed most of training camp and then playing top pairing minutes to start the season. Drydale lasted only 2 games.

PP1:

Killorn

Terry-McTavish-Zegras

Mintyukov

PP2:

Carlsson

Vatrano-Henrique-Strome

Fowler

Killorn is not great on the PP, should swap
Him and Leo.

Don’t think it matters too much since we are running a 1A and 1B, PP

I know Groulx isn’t popular on here, but the fact that he is a center and solid on the PK/faceoffs makes him more valuable to me than McGinn, Silf, or Johnston.

EDIT: I also think there is a much better chance he gets claimed over McGinn or Silf (though I would never expect Silf to be waived).

I would be fine if they waived McGinn instead I just think it's going to be Groulx

BO is more valuable to you than Silf or even Johnston? My lord what a take

I like Groulx more than most, but I think Silfverberg is still better, and Johnston has brought an element to the 4th line that’s been missing, and is a significantly better hockey player than I thought he was. He’s also walked into scrums where people were trying to take liberties, put 1-2 guys into hugs, and…the festivities immediately calmed down.

I think McGinn will be most likely to make it through waivers.

I also just don't think that they would waive Silf out of principle. Waiving Henrique was seen as kind of a dick move

Well you are also the guy who called Galimov a top 5 prospect for us not too long ago.

We can all have questionable takes from time to time.

lol, in terms of competition, the KHL is a tougher league than the three junior leagues combined. It was remarkable that he was playing there even with his young age

Bout to make dirk mad

I think Jones and groulx are the obvious options.

Silf is prob the best option but I doubt we do it

I guess a Henrique trade could be a thought too

Still think Mac needs to be on one of the half walls on PP1 as the only threatening one-time option, put Leo down low like you said, and you give Terry his own unit and let him be the big dog on controlled entries on PP2. Not a big fan of Henrique in the bumper either, but it’s not like Newell Brown’s power play really uses the position for anything but aesthetics.

I kinda like the 1A and 1B set up, can split the opponents D similar at ES. Rangers live or die by their top unit , as do a lot of teams, and with Fox out a month really going to be tested

If we have enough skill to ice two strong units, go for it.
