I expect him to get a Lindholm contract or more. Pesce would be a PERFECT fit for the Ducks, but someone is going to overpay him like Edmonton IMO. I view him in the same category as Roy. 5 years would be fine.

Pesce has just had a down year, Roy has been much better. Maybe Pesce is injured or something, but the trend is concerning. Pesce has also played almost twice as many games in his career as Roy has, so the mileage is much different between the two. Roy would easily be my choice, especially because I don’t think their contracts will be that different from one another.

PV said his (PV's) intent was to sign him, which he didn't say about Moore for example. So we could infer that Colangelo is maybe on board. Caveats being 1) PV is not a careful speaker, and 2) he's been wrong before (LaCombe).

No word from him. PV confirmed he wants to sign him but no word from Sam or his reps.

At this point we should probably view signing him as a bonus. I'm not counting on it. But, the fact that they disnt trade him like Thrun should be good news.
