As in Brink will be the healthy scratch?
It's rare that I'm inclined to be charitable to Torts, but my suspicion here is that they want to make sure Brink's ready to go before definitively slotting him in, since he did just get called up and I don't know offhand when he'll get to the Farg and things like that. Hopefully he'll be there in good order and they can slot him in (for Atkinson, if there is any mercy in the world, but probably for Frost or Lycksell.)

Anyone have advanced stats on Errson? I haven’t really watched this year, see he’s ~ top 10 in GAA but closer to ~30th in sv %. Not sure how to really gauge his play
He has 3.8 Goals Save Above Expected according to Moneypuck. That’s 28 out of 69 goalies with a 10 games played qualifier.
According to Evolving Hockey - of the 61 goalies who have seen 500 or more fenwich attempts against, he's 25th in overall GAR. He's been phenomenal on the PK, ranked 3rd of those 61 goalies.

I imagine that his numbers would look better if you took out his first ~5 starts, as well.

I don't know how you can scratch Frost just because there aren't enough centers then. Even going 11F/7D with Frost scratched would leave you with hobbled Couturier, Poehling, and Laughton. Any injury, penalty, etc... and you're in trouble.

Torts claims that Brink's game didn't get to where it needed to be on the Phantoms, but he's coming back up to provide offense.

How much time do you think Torts spent watching AHL game tape of BB? 30 minutes max, I'd wager.

I also say 0 minutes.

I allege Torts is 100% going off what Puckface says regarding Brink's game, which I'm sure is not at all a ringing endorsement from the clown with maybe two functioning braincells left.

I would guess less than that to be honest.

It really sucks that Fisto got hurt, because trading him and resigning Walker would have been such a win
