Torts is an idiot. Last night the lead the team in CF, CF%, xGF, xGF%. They were very good.
Analytically, they stack up as well as Couts-TK-Farabee, if not better. They have better xG metrics, better Scoring Chances metrics, better HDCF metrics...But they have an on-ice shooting percentage of 4.76%, which is awful.

Second EDIT - Nevermind - I don't feel like it. Just take my word that the analytics for this line dating back to last season is awesome.

They didn't even get him a chance. He got 3 games with decent line mates. Then the all star break/freeze happened and he didn't play for 2 weeks. Then, after not playing for 2 weeks, he was given 4 1/2 minutes of ice time.

I'm not saying he's an NHL player, but they haven't given him a chance to prove himself...They'd rather trot out Nic Deslauriers, who we know sucks, than to figure out if Lycksell can be a bottom six forward.
