That is the point. Brink has been invisible for a long time now. Send him down to help him get out of his rut faster facing weaker competition. See where Lycksell is at, if he can slot in at 3RW effectively. If Brink gets his game back he will be back up sooner than later.

Not everything is about force feeding your best youngsters the most minutes on the big club and that is the best progression for them.

If you're rebuilding, you don't need to force feed prospects to fill a hole in your lineup.
Lundell #12 on Florida wasn't helped by being rushed to the NHL, same with
Newhook #16 on the Avs, same story.
