They are „hustlin‘“. Meat Vehicle is „good positionally“ and Hathaway „agitates.“

Meat Vehicle‘s shifts are nearly identical; he will hit someone along the wall in the O-Zone after they had make a back pass and then he peels back. If véhicule de viande happens to possess in the O-Zone he will usually kick it back to a vacant point to clear the zone for the other team. Sometimes he does both in on one shift. His other trick is chest snipes for offensive zone faceoffs. Coach eats that poop up.

I guess maybe good that Konecny lets Hathaway handle the agitation? Don’t know.

Ok, here we go. While I still can’t see this team making the playoffs, I’m willing to at least accept the possibility that they might just squeak in. But please Danny, please, don’t do anything stupid like buy at the deadline. My expectation though is a 9th place finish and the 16OA pick.

At least they are watchable this season.

Who can we add at the deadline?

Any additions should come from internal options. I'm more concerned about the ability to get rid of guys currently on the roster. Laughton, Deslauriers, Poehling, Staal need to go. There are players that could be brought up from LV that would easily replace them-Attard, Deslauriers, Laczynski and Allison.
Moving out Hart makes sense. There are several teams that need NHL level goal tending right now. Ersson as the top guy backed up by Sandstrom would work. Hart is going to want more money in his next deal than he is worth to the club.
At this point the major decision is what to do about Walker-sign him or deal him. It looks like they want to keep him.

He’s markedly improved and I’m not sure who the credit should go to, but a bigger, stronger version of Braun should not have costed so much.

Even when I agree with him, I hate him. He's not close to a prime Braun. That's not an attack at Risto, but Braun was a very good defender in his prime. Risto is a useful 3rd pairing d-man..

Again, Risto as a reclamation project was fine. They just paid on two axes as if he was already revamped AND good.

what i find...we'll call it interesting about all the people enjoying that they are playing well and how Torts did this and that..these fans don't A. want to see they are overachieving and 2. Do not want to hear/answer about sustainability in the future

sure you do not have to tank to get good again but you need to hit on higher-end skill players..which you aren't gonna get picking 15 or later
