In misery of redwings of suckage for a long time
HahahanI boo’d Hanrahan at the Town Hall too, just an FYI.

The lesson is obvious: Boo everyone. All the time. Get them all fired. When there is nobody left to represent the organization, finally we will have the soothing peace of oblivion.Sir, I got Fletcher fired so maybe I can get him fired too.
But I did cheer for Briere and look where we are now so maybe I did ruin it for everyone.

I think with Atkinson, Couturier and Ellis all out there was no realistic way to not be in LTIR all season, given that Fletcher went out and got DeAngelo at $5m.I’m too lazy to check but I also wonder how much not trading JVR played a role.
You're assuming they haven't. This is a bias of yours and others to always assume the worst. I get it...but it get's tiresome.Yeah that annoyed me. Maybe, just maybe, sort out the rules yourself? Figure it out? Make an argument for this year if you can, instead of more Fletcherian passivity and laziness?

LOL...Fair enough.Assuming the worst traditionally is the most correct path. It is tiresome. I wish the team would stop doing the worst thing. Then I could stop assuming the worst.
godam NiskanenI wonder if that’s a mistake or doesn’t count as one.
Probably Hextall

I wanted to make Fletcher hurt. I was weak. I did not know the power I wielded in that moment.godam Niskanen

Go Clarke's house. Boo him.
Go to my ex wife's house, boo her stupid assGo Clarke's house. Boo him.
If the former idiot GM would of traded JVR and Braun at the deadline this wouldn’t be a issue. But here we are.Imagine exceeding the salary cap and still being this bad. Good grief.

He does it againEven in the offseason, the Flyers lead the league in chequing.
Saying the Flyers should know that Pronger would suffer a freak accident injury is a joke. You can't truthfully think that's a valid argument point. We always hear how AGM Barry Hanrahan, the Flyers' "cap specialist," is such a salary cap genius, yet it seems like the Flyers have had their fair share of cap mistakes during Hanrahan's tenure, dating back to Holmgren.
The Pronger over-35 contract mistake, and needing to use amateur tryouts / not being able to ice a full lineup a couple of nights because of the cap (like Toronto this year) , both under Holmgren with Hanrahan as the cap guy, spring to mind.
Maybe the GMs are doing what they want against Hanrahan's wishes, and/or maybe he warns them and they ignore it. I don't know. But it makes me wonder.
I can't hold the Pronger deal against Holmgren, he was an exceptional player who was still playing at a high level - and that's why you accumulate assets - if you can't draft high you can always trade for an elite player if you stockpile assets.Saying the Flyers should know that Pronger would suffer a freak accident injury is a joke. You can't truthfully think that's a valid argument point.
The cap blunders yes Clarke, Holmgren, Hextall and Fletcher all made them with Hanrahan's help.
