I’m sure the Kraken are dying to trade two useful players for two pending UFA

Eberle is a UFA after this year and AL has one year left.
If JDB agrees to resign with them they get a good player that is 6 years youger vs JE.
The trade could work out well for them.

Not as tall, but basically yeah. Wasn't the last broken nose he gave me either. My schnozz bends all the way to my left cheek if I press on it, mostly because my brother is a lefty, so that's the way his punches sent it.

They aren't looking for goaltending. It's been confirmed in the media that Carolina are not seeking goalie upgrades and are fine with Kochetkov and a returning F. Andersen. Kochketkov in particular has been solid for them.

Sweeney was the TDL champ last year and the team f***ed him by not having the nerve to punish Tkachuk like Kolesar did.

I don't care if he does nothing but sell the UFAs and a goalie as long as they have all the pieces in place for next year. Don't get me wrong, this is a very good team and they are close, but the residuals (cap crunch, no draft capital) of last year are still killing them.

Unless something magical happens...play Lohrei, Beecher and Merkulov or Lysell and see who is worth keeping for the big run next year.

Agree- you are putting the blame for last years failure and this years lack of resources where it belongs - behind the bench and on the bench

We went all in and came up empty- this year we pay the delayed price of no cap space ( see carry over bonuses) and reduced trade capital ( see the host of acquisitions at last years TDL)

People may not like this years inactivity but it was to be expected - we have little to deal and it takes two
