What we need is a Gryz/Forbort hybrid lol
Nope just complaintsThis really is your only response eh - just once we gotta see your recommendations
Bourque's retired, but no matter who they get it wont make a big difference. What we need is a Gryz/Forbort hybrid lol
I don't like him because he's slow, horrific at moving the puck up the ice, and ineffective both offensively and defensively.Of course you don't like him... He can clear the front of the net. Wouldn't want that
Forbort is a worse Forbort this year. Besides in the playoffs the depth is key for D that's what she saidBy the end of the deadline it will be Gryz, Lindholm and Edmundson for the looks of it. Replace Forbort with a worse Forbort.
But Gryz n Forbert are the answerAs a friend just said, if Florida had a chance to go into a lab and design the perfect defenseman to exploit with their forecheck and place him on the Bruins, it would be Joel Edmundson.
Too bad bruins are dealing with Injured Forbert. If healthy he's a force in the playoffs / PK.Forbort is a worse Forbort this year. Besides the depth is key for D that's what she said
Who’s going to go to get themGive me Middleton and Trenin and call it a day.
Forbort is absolutely not the answer. The Grizz of most of this year is not the answer either. But he was way better against Florida than Forbort was, and especially was way better against Carolina, who just continually tossed the puck into Forbort's corner over and over. But Gryz n Forbert are the answer
When has Forbort ever been anywhere close to a force in the playoffs?Too bad bruins are dealing with Injured Forbert. If healthy he's a force in the playoffs / PK.
Better b 259 friday lol. 359 he is lateDonny is a 3.59 Friday type of guy.
Donny is a 3.59 Friday type of guy.
If getting him, pushes Gryz out of the top 4 then its addition by subtraction. They already exploited Boston last playoffs. Play an aggressive forecheck, pound them into submission. Nothing on this roster now is better at handling that than last year
Donny doesn’t like violence. That’s why ever since 2011 we’ve been getting softer & softer. He brings one guy ever so often ( Backes, Belesky, Ritchie, Geer, Hathaway etc) to appease Neely, and expects the whole team to play tougher lol. You need toughness throughout the team. Doesn’t work like that.Bourque's retired, but no matter who they get it wont make a big difference.
Forecheck, tenderize, repeat.
Forceheck, tenderize, injure, repeat.
Forcecheck, bailout, goal.
I'd still rather him than either Gryz and Forbs. Both have been not existent. Forbs isn't even a physical guy. If both are gone Edmundson replaces Forbert easily. Not sure who replaces Gryz and why I think Donny may just keep him. I have said all along that I don't like Gryz but if he is to stay he has to be paired with someone nasty to balance the pair. My thoughtsForbort is absolutely not the answer. The Grizz of most of this year is not the answer either. But he was way better against Florida than Forbort was, and especially was way better against Carolina, who just continually tossed the puck into Forbort's corner over and over.
Slow crappy defensemen who can't get the puck out of the zone are not the answer for Florida.

I wouldn’t mind this at allHere’s one for you - Max Pacioretty.
You think deploying a bunch of Gryz is going to solve that? How well does Gryz protect the front of the net? It’s not just the forecheck, after they get the puck back to the defenseman they crash the net. Gryz isn’t going to clear the front of the net. We had a bunch of slow foot defenseman in Miller and Mcquaid, yet they made life miserable in front of their net and we won the cup.
I'll take Duhaime as well if we are already dealing with Minnesota. Lauzon if Nashville, McCarron can come along as wellGive me Middleton and Trenin and call it a day.
Regula in Providence?I'd still rather him than either Gryz and Forbs. Both have been not existent. Forbs isn't even a physical guy. If both are gone Edmundson replaces Forbert easily. Edmundson is hitting less and blocking less shots than usual.
Take that for what it's worth. Maybe it's system related.
Carlo has double his hits and blocked shots.
Is Regula any good?I'll take Duhaime as well if we are already dealing with Minnesota. Lauzon if Nashville, McCarron can come along as well
Regula in Providence?
