Ullmark may be moved in the offseason but I think we can abandon the deadline deal talk, it makes no sense
More than likely he stays unless someone overwhelms Sweeney but it wouldn't surprise me neither if this is his last start as a bruin. The writing on the wall. He's gone whether its now or this off-season, it all depends on who's available out-there and if Sweeney can get a deal done, before the deadline.

I think it makes perfect sense if some one comes into play where Sweeney needs cap space and he's received a decent offer for Linus, it would be a win-win, but Sweeney never lets anything out so its all speculation, but I think the possibility exist that he could get dealt by the deadline.

Then he was still considered a suspect in the 2018 world jn assault case, today he isn't
From what I heard from the Anaheim fans over past trade deadlines he was just not a very good hockey player. The Duck were desperately trying to staple him to Lindholm and dump him to us I think it was mentioned. I just assumed that was why.

Fourth liner but how about Nicolas Aube-Kubel. 16 points in 45 games and always seems to be a pain in the ass to play against. Could be a good, cheap add to the 4th line

It's bound to be a slow deadline because I've been telling anyone who would listen that the Bruins will make some BIG moves this week.

If my track record is any indicator at all, they will do absolutely nothing!

He has 9 points in 50+ games. He's cooked, man. Like actually full on charred steak.

Jeff Carter is not a guy i'd even kick tires on, even as a last resort.
Oooooh, what a terrible thing to do to a steak!

Fixed it for you.

The whole thing was ridiculous. To imply they traded him in the middle of a game so that if Sway got hurt we'd see the Zamboni driver (it was the Leafs so maybe that would work out )? Jack mentioned he didn't see Ullmark but then corrected it and said he was sitting in the tunnel. At first I assumed he had an equipment issue, or maybe was getting some minor injury treatment. It never occurred to me that a trade was happening in that moment.

I remember when Montreal traded Mike Cammelari mid game and the guy had to change quickly and leave everything behind. He was visibly upset (rightfully so) and Montreal got major shit for it. I don't think a mid game trade for a roster player has happened since.

Yeah I know it has happened in the past, but has it ever been a goalie with a team not carrying a third with them?

It will be something like that after what Elias lindholm and monahan went for the prices are astronomical.
I mean, yeah, you're going from two guys who produce offensively to someone who doesn't. Jeff Carter does absolutely nothing for this team at all other than him being that classic vet guy. He's been the complete shits this year.

Even if they retain the maximum amount, Carter isn't worth it, lol.
