Ottawa could offer Tkachuk and Chychrun 50% retained and I don’t think it would matter because Ullmark would likely say no way to going there.
Yeah I suppose he can say no, but I think he knows his days in Boston are numbered and may agree to waive.

I have been trying to figure out the lines all year. Last night was probably the best grouped I have seen. I would rather roll with what we have instead of giving up more futures for minor improvements. I would make a couple tweaks.

Marchand-Coyle-Debrusk
Heinen-Zacha-Pastrnak
JVR-Geekie-Frederic
Beecher-Boqvist-Lauko
Brazeau

Lindholm-McAvoy
Lohrei-Carlo
Gryz-Wotherspoon
Forbort-Shattenkirk

Swayman
Ullmark

I like our 3rd line last night of JVR-Geekie-Freddy. I hope Monty leaves them for a while to develop some chemistry. 100% fine if we keep Jake and roll Marchy-Coyle-Debrusk as our 2nd line. That's a very solid middle 6 right there.

I used to hate Heinen because he seemed to always get a pass with Cassidy, and wasn't very good at anything but I don't mind him anymore. I just want him off the top line with Zacha and Pasta. Very solid 4th line addition though and pk'er.

In order to upgrade on our back end (Hanifin or Middleton) and grab a suitable player for Zacha and Pasta's line, we most likely have to deal Ullmark. If the rumor is true about Swayman, leaving Ullmark to trade till summer makes no sense. His absolute highest value is right now, two playoff runs @ 5 million is a steal for any contender looking to snag the reigning Vezina winner.

Not trading Linus at the deadline period. I actually hope the Bruins come out and say as much. Last night's bench watch drama was flat out embarrassing. Be better Bruins fans.
I wouldn’t trade him at this deadline either but I wouldn’t blame bruins fans for that, I would blame hockey writers

What kept him out of the league this year?
People say the Team Canada scandal but honestly it’s because he plays selfish, lazy hockey according to ducks fans. Dumb penalties, doesn’t work hard. French Canadian Nick Ritchie but not as physically dangerous.

Like the last 2 seasons he was one of the bottom tier players on one of the bottom tier teams- I don’t see how he meaningfully helps the Bruins, especially since he is pesty and they don’t really have anybody to back that up when the other team gets pissed and pushes back

Keep jake he is a leaf killer. Wouldn't mind torey too he torched them also but his contract his woof.
I would not pay him 5 or 6 mil to keep him as a Leaf killer, he has to show some consistency and willingness to compete every game.

He has not done this over his career so if you get the right offer say goodbye. Louie needs to give him a shake or two to wake him up.

Instead of Stockholm Syndrome I'd like to introduce Bruins Syndrome where we constantly pine for the worst players on the worst teams in the league because they hit.

According to Pierre Lebrun, neither Edmonton nor Carolina are looking for goaltenders.

So we can scratch all those RNH and Martin Necas fantasy trade proposals.

I'd also add you can be darn sure Ullmark isn't waiving to go to Ottawa and their Mickey Mouse organization either.

So what's left? New Jersey? Based on the standings, they'd be better off waiting until the off-season, they look done for this season 8 pts. back.

LA is a possibility but Talbot has rounded back into form, Rittich has gotten the job done for the most part and they just signed Aaron Dell for the rest of the season. Once again, more of an off-season type of move.

Where's the market for Ullmark here at the deadline on Friday? I just don't see it.
