coyle is playing his best hockey since the 2019 playoff run why would you move him from center?
You think he cannot play his best at RW? That give you 2 solide options for faceoffs... I just put together the best offensive guys in top 6 forwards

So what could that Anaheim trade could be? I dont see a one and one because it doesnt look like that there is a player available that would improve the team. Maybe unloading a contract to improve the team with another trade? The best trade pieces right now should be Gryz and DeBrusk but who from Anaheim would be a upgrade on them?

BTW: it's to bad that Dom doesn't seem to post here much anymore. Hopefully it's only because he is busy with his projects. Would be a huge loss for this forum if he doesn't come back.
I totally agree on the bold part

If this is purely a paper transaction then why not send Mitchell down yesterday to get an extra day of cap accrual? I will never understand the cap.
they are in LTIR and aren't accruing cap space, probably more to do with waivers, saw a mention of that with Steen sitting every other game, its so he doesn't have to pass waivers again, something to that extent.

nope.
dont expect anything either until after his court case.
My take: if they're still together, living together, going to work through their marriage, it'll never go to trial. Looch will be required to finish his stint in the player assistance program, do some community service and that'll be it.

If they're separated.......shit's gonna hit the fan!

Henrique or Zegras are the only possibilities I see from Anaheim. Maybe Fowler if they're making a big splash.
The forward's you mention do not interest me, maybe Fowler, but that contract is stiff. The two forwards that would work for me are not available, I am sure.

Grzelcyk played games 3 and 4 in Florida. Bruins won both by a combined 10-4 (grzelcyk did not play game 2 or 6

Clifton did not play games 3 & 4, but played games 2 and 6 and they lost by combined 13-8

However Clifton is taller and throws checks now and then

Put away the lance, Don Quixote. The Grizz can't play in the playoffs narrative runs too deep.

The thing is, the last 2 coaches believed it, or at least believed he was a concern who at best needed to be heavily sheltered. So Dan's problem should not be with people on this board it has to be with Cassidy and Montgomery

Well, we don't have Don or the coaches on the forum (that we know of) but we have a lot of posters here who have just accepted this truth, and the analytics don't bear it out. Bruce clearly did not like Gryz's size, or more likely, his durability was an issue (that is a fair point). Monty, I am not sure about, because Sweeney added Orlov and he had to play and that meant an odd man out (and Orlov sucked in the playoffs too).

Is it a narrative amongst the front office as well? They are the ones who knock him down the pecking order every deadline and clearly don't trust him in a top 4 role. He was the plus minus leader in the regular season then a healthy scratch once the play-offs started. He played game 5, then was scratched game 6, and came back game 7. He averaged 13 minutes of ice time in the four games played, well below everyone else. Why do people get on the fans who say he's not a play-off guy but not the front office and coaching staff who clearly feel he isn't?

First off, this is a discussion board with other fans, not a meeting with the coaches and front office and disagreeing with a point of view is not "getting on" someone. To your point, last playoffs he was Orloved and that was a bad move by Sweeney. I didn't care for Bruce's use of the guy, and for Monty's last playoffs but will give it a pass because, again, Orlov.

As for the front office, he was extended and hasn't been traded. The means something, and the numbers don't bear out that he sucks in the playoffs. It has just become a meme around here in certain quarters. But we all have our points we can make to go back and forth on it, and I am not going to change your mind or anyone's who want Grizz off the team- it's been going on for years. Really I was just poking at Dan a little bit, because he and I are on the same side of the issue, but it's like the toughness debate. It goes in endless circles.
