cannot coexist on a pairing with forbortIlya Lyubushkin
cannot coexist on a pairing with forbortIlya Lyubushkin
Stay at home RHD, physical, good passer. Would complement McAvoy well IMO.Why?
If you have to ask you don't pay to much attention to what is need on the back end. Why?
He would work nicely with Gryz IMO.... He's not bad with Mintyukov IMO but would be a nightmare with Forbort. Issue is Forbort can't be anything other than a third pair He's a huge upgrade over the current Bruins 3RD but it's a tough fit due to Forbort. Would be a nice 2pk guy tooIf you have to ask you don't pay to much attention to what is need on the back end.
Please tell me why he isn't an upgrade over Shattenkirk or Mitchell?
Grzelcyk - Gudas/Lyubushkin as a third pairing would be better than Forbort - Shattenkirk. Bruins would most likely have to move Forbort in a separate deal or in the same deal. What’s the fascination with Lyubushkin? He’s on his third team in 3 years. I’m not a big Corsi guy but he’s at 35% which is deplorable. He has absolute zero offensive aptitude. A Forbort-Lyubushkin pairing would be an affront to any reasonable hockey - eye test or otherwise. He was not good for the Leafs in the only playoff series he played in and the Leafs happily let him walk despite their defensive issues.
Is it because he hits? Because I can’t see any reason to acquire him for the right side.
Oh yeah he’d be great on the first pair with McAvoy.Stay at home RHD, physical, good passer. Would complement McAvoy well IMO.
I don't think he's a must have or anything, but he'd be a good piece.
Noah Hanifin pack your shitFWIW,

Source: Bruins Looking For A Defenseman On NHL Trade Market
According to an NHL executive source, the Boston Bruins have, are, and will continue to explore the NHL trade market for a two-way defenseman. “As I’ve told you before, Donny would like to add a defenseman. …sounds like a physical one too,” the source told Boston Hockey Now late Tuesday morning...bostonhockeynow.com
I have to disagreeWith JVR looking like a shrewd signing and Lucic no longer being on the team we do kind of have an opening for a skilled slower big veteran. I'd sign Perry for the minimum.
Did Don have to spend up to the cap? Brown, Boqvist, Shattenkirk, JVR for example are not necessary signings imo. You could have got their level of production from Providence
Now you have little to no flexibility to sign someone decent off waivers or call up Lysell for example. Difficult to make trades.
I guess Don likes pain..... He just keeps putting himself in a bind. If I was Gold, I would be sick of it.
Lohrei-McAvoyWhat’s the fascination with Lyubushkin? He’s on his third team in 3 years. I’m not a big Corsi guy but he’s at 35% which is deplorable. He has absolute zero offensive aptitude. This place is really something else.I have to disagree
JVR (and Shattenkirk) ... .look like have ran out of gas
I don't even notice JVR when he is one the ice. He doesn't hit. He doesn't hold the puck along the boards.
Some opportunistic points doesn't give him a pass imo
TBH I would either drop these two to reserves. Or waive them. Call up Lohrei or even someone like Mitchell.
On offense, I rather see Lysell. Heck I rather see Steen play than JVR.
I guess? I’m not sure that really solves anything though, especially putting 3 righties on the PK. At best a lateral move even with ridding yourself of Forbort.Lohrei-McAvoy
Lindholm-Carlo
Gryz-Lyubushkin
Shattenkirk
Forbort Moved in trade back for cap reasons? Let Lohrei figure it out with an elite partner just like Mac did with Chara. Gryz slides down and helps mask some of Lyubushkins deficiencies while he does the same for Gryz.
Those were the good ol’ daysSeeing people talk about trading Debrusk and Gryz for a bunch of swill from the Ducks makes me miss the good old days of the Zadorov hypotheticals.
coyle is playing his best hockey since the 2019 playoff run why would you move him from center?Debrusk Zacha Pasta
Marchy Poitras Coyle
JVR Frederic Lysell
Heinen Beecher Geekie/Steen/Lauko
Lysell is doing great, get confidence, Bruins play like shit need to score...why not!
