Lines at practice:

Main trios seem to be:

Heineman-Maillet-Roy
Farrell-Stephens-Mesar
Simoneau-Kidney-Andersson

Norlinder-Mailloux
Trudeau-Lindstrom
Struble-P.-Bisson
Beaudin-Keeper
Galipeau

That first pairing is not a good idea..

Davidson, Condotta, Mysak, McKay, Légaré and Bourque are on the ice rotating in.

Brandon Gignac was wearing a gray non-contact jersey

Feel like Mesar is going to find himself benched fairly quickly. Maybe loaned to Slovakia. No way he's better AHLer than Mysak/Davidson right now.

Holy cow. If he is not better than Mysak, he will be a huge miss as a 1st round pick.

Doubt he reports. I know he technically would have no choice, but this could get messy.

He wasn’t interested in year 1. Year 2 there could be a disaster.
They should've done their homeworks. For a team that talks about attitude and being able to handle the heat, it's very weird that they picked Mesar who thinks he's too good for OHL without actually being too good for the OHL.

Looks like Mesar lost to Kidney. I expect him to go back to junior or maybe Europe.

As stated before, not happy with Davidson on the 4th line. Would much prefer him on TR 1st line with PP time and Condotta draws in.

for the lines I'd flip Simoneau with Heineman. Put Simoneau with Roy and the 2 Swedes can play on a line together. Farrell could rack up a ton of assists as Armia could wreck the league if he wanted to.

Lot of bodies but between the big club and Laval injuries will happen so opportunities will arise. Better to have that depth than not and end up with a decimated farm squad in a few months like the last couple years.

Regarding Davidson on the 4th, I get what you're saying. And if that decision is made to send him down, I'd be all for it. But the way I see it, it didn't hurt Evans to start on the 4th when he turned pro. It also didn't hurt RHP to start there also.

I think Davidson has shown us that he's probably not going to be a 4th line AHL player and that he will eventually work his way up the line-up. I like the potential of Davidson and Mysak. Because both of them have had strong camps since the rookie showcase.

Maybe it makes more sense to see if JPJ can be a top6 guy in the ECHL and what is his upside vs him playing bottom6 grinder in Laval.
Yeah, ok. JPJ for me has a ceiling of a longshot 12th to 14th NHL forward, so I am not all that worked up about it.
