JF Houle said that even through Trudeau and Mailloux were paired together today, they will likely not be paired together to start the season, because they're both defensemen who like to join the attack. So it would probably be more beneficial to pair each of them with someone more defensively minded.

The game is at Place Bell and it's closed to the public. The people you see in the stands are probably either media, some players' families, and/or possibly Habs management.
Family members, my brother was at the game (lucky him), his girlfriend is one of the players sister. I couldn't go since I'm not direct family lol (I asked twice, just in case 😂)

So who's left in Laval:

F: Roy, Mesar, Mysak, Kidney, Davidson, Farrell, Simoneau, Legare, McKay, Parker-Jones, Stephens, Andersson, Maillet, Bourque & Gignac.
+ Armia who won't be claimed + possibly Heineman who might be cut due to being waiver-exempt.

D: Mailloux, Trudeau, Struble, Tourigny, Beaudin, Keeper, Galipeau & Bisson
+ Lindstrom who most likely will clear + possibly Norlinder and/or Barron due to being waiver-exempt.

G: Dobes, Mann, Emond & Vrbetic

He clearly belongs in the AHL, i don't understand whats the issue with these people crying over kulich.
To be fair, Mandolese (the goalie) is expected to play in the ECHL for the Sens and their top AHL prospects are still in Ottawa filling bodies until they sign Pinto and get Norris on LTIR. Laval were one of the only teams icing their full roster this pre-season. I don't think 1 goal in 2 games is really an indicator that he "clearly" belongs in the AHL. I won't be upset to see him start there but it wouldn't be offensive to send him to junior, he doesn't look like Roy or Davidson out there.

Is there a roster limit in the AHL? I'm guessing more than 23?

My guess is Émond (G), Vrbetic (G), Galipeau (D), Tourigny (D), Kidney (F) in the ECHL. Mesar (F) in the OHL.

My lineup:

G:
Dobes
Mann

D:
Bisson-Mailloux
Trudeau-Barron/Norlinder/Lindstrom
Struble-Keeper
Extras: Beaudin

F:
Heineman-Gignac-Roy
Andersson-Mysar/Simoneau-Stephens
Farrell-Condotta-Armia
Bourque-Maillet-Légaré
Extras: Mckay, Parker-Jones, Davidson

Too many forwards... Mesar needs good icetime or he goes OHL again.

Is Mysak out or is that who you mean to alternate with Simoneau?

Was Nowak cut already?
