Long time lurker. I've seen every game Cutter has played since we traded for him plus all the USA games and more. Wish his motor was higher but he has some rare tools when put together. He's such a powerful skater (downside is he usually only uses it when he has the puck). Biggest thing he needs to work on in his shot selection, he shoots too much from everywhere including low percentages and just plain missing the net from bad angles. That being said, his potential is scary. That size, that speed, that shot. I'm excited for him and think we made a great move. Loved his reverse hit to end the period and stare down. I think it's a win-win trade for both sides that fills a need as well for both teams.

I think this play style will work next to Carlsson or Zegras they will get him good high percentage chances. Not everyone has to drive the play the key is how everyone compliments each other

Thanks a lot for your scouting report!

Looking at how Vatrano fits great with the Ducks as we have too many "pass first" players, he should be a great addition.
