Hey, ask and you shall receive they say!:)

But seriously my usual suspect was streaming those until recently but stopped for no reason and I don't watch the AHL enough to warrant a subscription.

I hope Sampo is able to just play a simple game, chase people down, drive the puck to the net, be a pain in the ass to play against. He's got all the physical gifts, he needs to think simple and play simple.
That's the reason he's been recalled over more deserving players so I hope he gets that.

It took a while but I think we finally hired a competent AHL head coach... Sacco, Quinn, Chynoweth, Veilleux, ...

well we’ve been wanting to see guys up get some meaningful minutes. Hope they take the opportunity and run with it

Foudy is easily their best player and it’s not all fancy stuff, he does channel it into an energetic tenacity combined with skill. But he’s not a try hard forechecker so we’ll see how that goes.
How has Galchenyuk looked?

interesting.. Zhuravlyov possibly returning to russia on loan.

That would be a weird career/life choice.

He’s very, very unlikely to make the show… KHL salaries are typically triple AHL salaries.

Zhuravlyov and his wife just had a kid. That might have something to do with it.

Mikhail Maltsev mentions that in an interview. It’s super long and detailed. He discusses tons of topics; like young players getting yelled at by Erik Johnson for getting on elevators before the vets. Lol
You can get the gist of it by running it through a translator.

Lets be fair, it doesn't sound like he yelled at him. More like politely told him to wait for the vets next time.

"No, I'm just modest in life, I feel normal in the team. Only the rules must be followed, I, as a young man, need to be the last to enter the elevator. - Why? - Those are the rules in the NHL. It used to be even tougher. I had this story: we played a match on the road, I didn't play much. Without hesitation, I got off the bus first and went to the elevator. Then Eric Johnson (he's been at the club for the longest time) told me not to be the first to go into the elevator next time, because you have to skip those who played more first. And he threw me a video where the NHL veteran says that in his time, the young man who went into the elevator first, almost started kicking. Another rule: food should also not be taken first. How much do you have to play to stop being young? - Fig knows. I guess I should feel it myself. Yes, it is not difficult to wait until adults take food first or be the first to enter the elevator."

Also, I think his description of his mentality last year is why he didn't stand out much. He was too worried about making mistakes.

"When called, I tried to play carefully, correctly. Now I think maybe, on the contrary, it is sharper to score at least a point."

Euro articles are so much better than what any NA outlet produces it's not even funny.
